The Bucket List

Two terminally ill guys—played by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman—team up to knock out everything on their Bucket List before the clock runs out. You’ve got Jack Nicholson playing this wild, impulsive wealthy type, while Morgan Freeman is the calm, collected mechanic who just happens to be a total scholar... It’s a fantastic drama with those perfect comedic touches you expect from a director like Rob Reiner.

Just finished watching it. It left a hell of an impression on me and carries a really powerful message. Honestly... I don't run into movies this good very often... I truly loved it, and that combination of Morgan Freeman & Jack Nicholson is just absolutely top-tier

Anyway... highly recommend it

A solid flick, even if the translation was pretty rough. Definitely worth a watch—highly recommend... though it really relies on the heavy lifting from two absolute legends, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

That's been his whole career—just one repetitive archetype. Even in The Departed, he's the only one without a Boston accent, just leaning into those signature mannerisms...

Actually liked it. A solid way to kill an afternoon at the theater. Had me laughing a few times, which was a pleasant surprise.
Even "Just Jack" Sean Hayes wasn't as grating as he usually is.🙂

It’s a really great movie. Simple, funny, and genuinely engaging... I mean, there were a few beautiful moments in there, especially toward the end. 👍👍

This is a moving film that’s definitely worth a watch, if only to see the Jack Nicholson-Freeman duo share the screen for the very first time.

I got exactly what I was looking for: a heartfelt story about two older guys who don't have much left to them besides a little bit of fun. If you can look past the clichés—like the fact that one of them has to be loaded just to make their scheme work—it’s a pretty enjoyable watch that doesn't require too much heavy lifting from your brain.

The director's vision certainly hit the mark.

I don't even dare attempt to deconstruct this film; I felt as if I were experiencing something deeply personal, a beautiful yet heartbreaking journey all at once.🙂

It was a great movie, and honestly, I absolutely loved the ending. 👍 Sure, there are a few clichés scattered throughout, but given the genre, I think they totally got away with it. It gave me some good laughs and even had a few moments that were actually really touching, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman have such incredible chemistry together—the casting was spot on. All in all, just a really lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 🙂

Sure, the message is positive, I’ll give you that 🙂 but everything else, folks, is just straight-up pathetic. It’s just endless clichés and forced drama... it all hits a breaking point when that little blue granddaughter shows up. The whole theater basically reacted like a programmed crowd at a screening of 'Full House'... just one massive, synchronized "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" 🙂 I’m not wasting a single dime on these weak movies anymore, and if you felt those positive vibes, you were probably just "manufacturing" them yourself 🙂

It’s a charming little flick featuring some absolute legends in the lead roles. Honestly? The guys nailed it—they really did their jobs, kept me laughing, and provided some genuinely solid entertainment. Sure, if you look closely, the movie is packed with clichés—it’s practically built out of them—but does that actually take away from the experience? I don't think so. The subject matter is pretty tricky to handle without falling into those traps, yet they managed to tell an excellent story and pull it off beautifully. 8/10

Disappointment 😢 I tend to expect more from Jack Nicholson, though I must say Morgan Freeman was absolutely superb; he clearly hasn't lost his touch. The film's message is quite poignant, which arguably salvages the experience, in my opinion.
