Managing my ADSL bandwidth

Does anyone know of a program that can automatically track my total monthly incoming and outgoing data usage? I’m honestly getting so tired of having to log in to various provider portals just to check the same numbers over and over again—it feels like such a chore! Also, it would be absolutely amazing if there was an option to automatically kill the connection once I hit a certain limit—say, X MB in a single month—unless I manually enter a password to override it. Does such a thing exist?

It’s definitely way more straightforward—especially for someone who isn't a tech wizard, which is exactly who this was built for! Plus, I’m guessing it won't eat up nearly as much bandwidth as manually clicking through every single page one by one, right?
