Hey there. So, I recently found out I have a cyst on my pancreas. For about ten months now, I’ve been dealing with constant digestive issues and stomach pain almost every single day—it’s been an absolute nightmare, honestly.

They actually caught the cyst a few months back during an MRI scan.
Basically, I’m doing everything by the book: taking probiotics, watching what I eat, staying away from alcohol, and using digestive enzymes. It helps a little bit, I guess, but nothing much.

Since you mentioned they caught that during your MRI, I'm wondering... wouldn't that have popped up on an abdominal ultrasound too? What kind of digestive issues were you actually dealing with?

😎 I’ve been dealing with "something" for about four months now, and honestly, they still haven't found a thing. It’s just... constant stomach pain. Doesn't matter what I eat, really. I've lost a decent amount of weight, too. Plus, I had two bouts of fever hitting around 99 degrees, and just that general, heavy feeling of weakness. Now I'm getting nauseous sometimes and my gut just feels... off. My endoscopy and ultrasound were totally clear, and they even ruled out H. pylori. Do you have any idea what this could actually be?

PurpleQueen....look, here’s the deal... it all kicked off with these intense pains in my upper abdomen, right under the ribs, and then the ache just radiated straight into my back (which is classic pancreatic pain). I tried tweaking my diet a bit and that actually helped settle things down a little. Basically, I went strictly low-fat—nothing processed or greasy at all... and man, I lost A LOT of weight... though honestly, I still don't know the exact reason why. At first, I was dealing with diarrhea too, but I sorted that out with some probiotics, so at least that isn't an issue anymore. I've already had my pancreas checked twice and everything looks fine on paper. They found a spot on my CT scan, but my doctor sent me in for an MRI to figure out exactly what kind of cells we're dealing with. Turns out, it's a benign tumor, about 1.5 x 1.4 cm. So, yeah. That's where I am. Now I just have to go see a surgeon and see what they have to say about it.
And if I were you, I'd definitely push to get either a CT or an MRI since those scans are way more detailed—believe me, I know, because they couldn't find a single thing on my ultrasound. You should also get your pancreatic function checked with a blood test.

Thanks, I definitely will if things keep looking up. I honestly thought everything would be crystal clear on the ultrasound by December. Take care of yourself and hope you have a speedy recovery!
