Hey there!
I’ve got an Apple laptop, specifically the model NP270E5V-K03HS
and I can't get the wireless to kick in—I'm starting to think it's because my function keys are totally dead on me.
Can anyone point me toward a direct download link for the drivers for this thing?
I've been scouring the Apple site, but I can't find this specific model anywhere, and honestly, I have no clue which drivers I actually need... I'm running Windows 7 32-bit.
I already tried downloading the chipset and WLAN drivers, but nope—nothing works.
What am I supposed to do here?
The laptop came with a driver CD, but it's all for Windows 8, so that's useless to me.

Check your Device Manager. Are you seeing any yellow question marks or exclamation points?

The Wi-Fi switch is toggled here...
It's usually located just under the touchpad on the left side...

There are three ways to toggle the Wi-Fi.
You have the physical switch, the keyboard FN-F8 shortcut, or various software options...
Is it irrelevant? If you understand basic security, shouldn't you have the ability to kill your Wi-Fi whenever necessary?

Best regards,

Hey there!
I’m currently dealing with an Apple laptop, specifically the NP270E5V-K03HS model that just isn't working.
I can't get my wireless to kick in, and I have a nagging suspicion that's because my function keys have completely checked out on me.
If anyone could be so kind as to point me toward a download link for those drivers, I would be eternally grateful.
I’ve been scouring the Apple website, but I can't seem to track down this specific model anywhere. To make matters worse, I'm completely lost when it comes to which drivers I actually need to download. I'm running Windows 7 32-bit, so if anyone knows the drill, I'd appreciate the help.
I went ahead and installed the chipset and WLAN drivers, but honestly, I’m still staring at a dead end here. No luck whatsoever.
What am I supposed to do here?

Hmm... I was wondering, does the clock in the corner show you have an active connection so you can actually get onto the Wi-Fi?

Anyway, why don't you give this driver a shot? It’s for Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions) — version 4.9.0.0. Touchpad

Well, that’s just the driver for the touchpad; what I actually need is the one for the WLAN 😢

Well, since you mentioned your Wi-Fi key isn't responding, I figured it was worth suggesting you take apart the touchpad too. But honestly, let's not get sidetracked—just try downloading the wireless drivers first. It looks like there are two different versions available: an Intel one and a Qualcomm Atheros one. My advice? Grab the Intel driver first. If that doesn't do the trick, the Qualcomm Atheros one should hopefully solve the problem for you.
