Does anyone know what's going on with Napster? I can't seem to connect to any servers today. I did a little digging online and it looks like those Kazaa servers are being shut down, but they aren't the only ones out there. There are plenty of other options, yet I can't get a connection to any of them. 👎

It sucks that I had to jump from Napster plus 1.2 C back down to Napster 0.48, which is honestly total garbage in my opinion. I’m stuck with basically one server right now, so I've mostly been relying on ☕

I think I'm finally going to sit down and actually learn how to use BitTorrent properly. 🙄

Napster is honestly garbage 👎 it’s loaded with viruses just like BearShare, a total disaster..

For me, LimeWire is the best..

Private trackers are easily the best way to go for BitTorrent 😉

I'm with you on BitTorrent, but when it comes to standard software, LimeWire blows Napster out of the water! You get way more sources and much faster speeds!

LimeWire is fine if you're just some casual user looking to grab some MP3s, but honestly, try typing the name of any mainstream TV show into LimeWire and then do the same in Napster, and you'll see exactly why people still use Napster... It's where you find everything from those niche indie flicks to obscure series and ebooks that you won't find anywhere else.

So yeah, Napster is great if you want to snag videos or more obscure stuff, provided you don't mind the occasional download hiccup and being part of that massive swarm of users uploading everything for everyone else.
