My neighbor has been trying to sell me on the benefits of colloidal silver and Swedish bitters for months now. I hope I’ve got the names right. She's convinced it actually works for your health... I'm pretty skeptical about the whole thing, so I wanted to check here and see if anyone has any actual experience, research, or anything at all...
If anyone knows anything about this, I could use some ammunition to argue my case with her...
Thanks 🙂

Take a quick look through the forum; there have been plenty of discussions about this topic already. I actually just found out about it myself when my dad started using it—he’s feeling fantastic now. To be clear, he was practically dependent on those sake tablets every single day, but he's currently on his fifth day without any medication at all, and he feels truly wonderful. He gets his water sourced from a spring in Kentucky...

Do a little Google search...

The thread already exists...

I honestly don't think you can compare Swedish sage
to something like "colloidal silver"....

If you check out the "edge of science" subforum, there’s actually a whole thread dedicated to that silver stuff...

To me, Swedish sage feels more like a blend of medicinal herbs—and I'm pretty sure
it couldn't hurt you if you tried—but ingesting silver
(which is a heavy metal, let's be real) just doesn't sit right with me...

So, I just spent some time scrolling through the thread about colloidal silver over on the "edge of science" subforum, and honestly, I’m done. I didn't even bother trying it myself, but at least now I have plenty of ammunition for my next chat with the neighbor... I thought about maybe applying it topically to a scratch or some swelling, you know, using it "externally," but I'm just not feeling it. There's too much skepticism regarding drinking this stuff orally, so—nothing for me.

Thanks for checking in, everyone. Keep the info coming! 👍

You guys were just talking about that silver water on Edge of Science yesterday. Some doctors gave it to this poor woman—she was already sick, though I couldn’t tell you exactly what with—and now she’s turned completely gray and lifeless. Just wandering around like a ghost. It totally wrecked her! You can't exactly claim to be sane when you're pumping silver into your system... 👎

I remember one time a Swedish heating element dropped a fever from 101.3 down to 97.5 in about five minutes flat... granted, that was a one-off occurrence, but it’s enough to make me think those little things are actually pretty damn effective.
