Best nasal spray for congestion?

It’s all fine... though lately I’ve been trying to cut back on how much I use it... mostly just before bed so I can actually get some sleep... it really depends on the season... when it first hit me, I was using it every ten minutes, lol... honestly, I probably should just move to somewhere warm year-round and call it a day... otherwise, I’ll end up spending a fortune on operil for the rest of my life haha... or maybe we could organize a group buy directly from the manufacturer and order a few truckloads to get a better price...8

And I wouldn't go through with surgery even if they paid me, especially not in this struggling country where nobody seems to know what they're doing...

I used Visine for years—right up until my surgery.
Lately, I’ve only reached for it twice, and that was strictly because I came down with a nasty cold.

Visine never really caused me issues, aside from the occasional nosebleed when it irritated my nasal lining a bit too much...
Sure, they tell you not to use it long-term, but I made my own choices. Honestly, if they tallied up how much Visine I’ve bought over the last decade, they’d probably have to build me a monument...

I dealt with bleeding for years before I even touched a spray.

It looks like I’m not the only one hooked on nasal sprays! I’ve been totally dependent on them for about two years now. Between my sinuses and a deviated septum, everything feels just a little bit "off," which fuels this obsession with decongestants. I find myself reaching for another dose at least three times a week—it’s become a literal habit.
Has anyone else here noticed any negative impact from using Nazal on their vision or their eyes?

None of those nasal sprays should be used long-term,
which I guess none of us actually do anyway.
When my nose and sinuses get stuffed up, I usually reach for some Visine...
It's terrible. I switched over to Flonase once I realized I have a birch allergy, and that seems to work wonders for me.
I also have a slight deviated septum, so if these issues persist, I might just go in for surgery.
When my sinus issues really hit, it’s honestly unbearable—I get a low fever, ear infections, and all that.
Also, you shouldn't use Sudafed for more than a week; you need a prescription now because it can be addictive.
The same goes for Visine—definitely don't use it for more than seven days.

If you're just dealing with acute inflammation and the congestion that comes with it, some good old Sudafed works wonders.😉
Just put a tiny drop on your fingertip, hold it right under your nostrils, and take a deep breath.
Steam inhalations from a hot cup of tea also work incredibly well—especially if you add a bit of Sudafed or something similar with menthol and those other essential oils...
