Survivor: The Story of Two Sisters (Mary-Kate Olsen)

That movie about Mary-Kate Olsen from back in '03.
I dig them, but I haven't actually sat down to watch it. Saw it on PBS yesterday.
Supposedly it's some kind of reality thing.
Like, they're just bickering or whatever. I can't tell if it's an actual reality show or just a movie *about* a reality show.
Because if it's the first, it's not really a movie, and if it's the second, they're basically just playing themselves.
What's the deal with this anyway?

It’s a B-movie, not a reality show... I don't think they're playing themselves. It's just a movie where some reality TV nonsense is at the center of the plot involving two different crews. Anyway, I ended up grabbing the remote.

These twins Olsen really possess some serious intelligence 🤣

It was excellent—deliberate in its pacing, but the atmosphere was absolutely superb. While I found the ending a bit disorienting on my first pass, watching it a second time cleared up all my confusion. 🙂 If you haven't seen it yet, you really should watch Bittersweet Life by that same director.

Did they ever star in anything separately?

Honestly, watching that movie was a real Survivor for me. Those Olsen twins can be quite a handful.
