Subscribed Threads

Is it actually possible—and if so, how do I go about it—to subscribe to a thread even if I'm not actually posting in it?

Quick question for the group—why am I being automatically subscribed to certain threads? What’s the deal with that?

Do you subscribe to every thread you participate in?

More or less, yeah... I haven't really been keeping a close eye on it. Is there a way to just shut this thing off?

EDIT: Okay, so right now it’s showing me a thread about Primer Division where I left a single comment a few months back—and honestly, I have zero interest in that topic anymore.

--> You can see all the threads you're subscribed to here that have new posts. There's an "unsubscribe" link under each one.

--> This shows everything you've subscribed to.

--> Here, under messaging & Notification, you can set whether you want to be subscribed and how it works.

I've got my settings toggled to "Do not subscribe," yet somehow I'm sitting here with 10 different subscribed threads—and I only manually opted into one of them. I just went ahead and cleared them all out, but honestly, I don't think that actually fixes anything... it probably won't stop the system from auto-subscribing me again down the road. Thanks anyway.
