Who on earth are you even picking a fight with, for crying out loud? ☕

vividcanyon2 said:you can catch some decent boys at Coachella on July 15th—that’s pretty close to you. Just go watch. I don't think the tickets are even that pricey.

Well, there are plenty of them at Lollapalooza too, which is even closer to him, in every sense of the word.😬

👋
I wonder if that actually drives the price up? 😳

It looks like making the trek by train might actually be worth the hassle for a lineup like this.

Is there any actual proof for this? 8:00 👋 🎉

Man, I’d honestly drop $250 just to see !!! perform—no questions asked. 🙂

Banjanin!!! This guy’s been dragging his feet for months, and the deadline was supposed to be August 29th. But since the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is happening right around then, our buddy actually went to talk to the Coachella organizers to make sure there wouldn't be any scheduling conflicts...
It turns out, nope—Coachella is moving their dates up by two days, and apparently, the organizers never even heard about this! In the end, they clearly realized how much the younger crowd loves this band and basically just snatched them away from us. Honestly, it sucks.

Oh, so instead of spending an extra three days at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just to catch everyone, we’ll just stay home 🙂

Though, I guess... that wouldn't be very fair to the guy from Brooklyn...

Rather than offering any support, I suspect you'll all just end up heading to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for the boos instead. 👎 😬

Man, it’s awesome that both Interpol and Sonic Youth are coming, but honestly, if Banja hadn't mentioned they might show up to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, I bet those guys wouldn't have even thought about calling them. Like I said before, they probably hadn't even heard of them until now... but hey, that's just the cutthroat music business for you. People like our buddy often get used by the industry... you just gotta accept it and be happy that we're getting both Interpol and SY playing right here in Washington, D.C....

One thing still bugs me, though... SY could probably pack a decent crowd at a smaller venue like Madison Square Garden—maybe 2,000 people. The NY Dolls would top out at maybe 500, and Interpol might pull 1,000, even though they share the same fanbase as SY...
So now they're supposed to be the headliners for a massive festival set up for tens of thousands of people? It feels like it's gonna be pretty underwhelming if some huge superstar name doesn't jump in at the last minute...

But seriously, are we actually renting a van to haul the Ferrari?

The Ferrari?

Yeah, I keep having this nagging thought that we're basically talking about Central Park here... If there isn't a massive influx—and I mean a serious, overwhelming surge—of people coming in from neighboring states, the whole thing is probably going to feel pretty empty.

Maybe they should try booking Franz Ferdinand again.😬

Man, I am feeling pretty wiped out, and all I need now is a massive crowd to deal with 😬

I mean, what’s even the point of having sponsors if they aren't just there to fill the gap left by a lack of actual ticket sales?

I honestly can't help but wonder how on earth Marić is going to market this thing... maybe they'll go with something like, "The world-famous trio of three-chord wonders..."

Man, it’s going to be insane.

Honestly, a guy from a small town like rural Alabama wouldn't be able to pull this off alone, not even if he wanted to. We're talking massive amounts of cash here. 🤔 Besides, it’s just not cool to throw specific names and details out onto the internet without any context.

It's gonna be legendary. I'm heading over to Ticketmaster right now to grab my $67 👋

He wouldn't be able to pull this off alone even if he tried, tbh. We're talking massive amounts of cash here 🤔 plus, it's just not cool to drop names and specific details online like that without any context.

You're wrong, he could totally organize it without breaking a sweat, but you've got a point. It wasn't right of me to call them out like that. At the end of the day, the fans are the ones who actually benefit, no matter how shady someone else's moves might be... my bad to any local guy if I caused any trouble...
