Hmm, I suppose I’m trying to picture it... On some tiny little stage, they might actually be quite incredible. 🎉 Even for a daytime set. 🙂

Oh come on, they're basically built for the spectacle. I wouldn't even bother fighting for the front row just to get splashed by their stage antics... plus, if you check out YouTube, they are such an incredible live band. 🤷

Honestly, this emoji is so good it deserves to be in every single post, even when it doesn't really make sense... 🤷

🙏 🤷 🙏

It’s a bit of a stretch to think they could actually hold a crowd's attention on a main stage, regardless of how incredible their musicianship might be. 😢

I remember catching them at KEXP—they were absolutely brilliant live. It was December 7th, 2006, if my memory serves me right. Let me just double-check Google... Ah, turns out I was off by a day. December 8th.

We know what they're capable of live; they played an NPR session about a year ago 🤷

Are you talking to yourself in the third person? 🙂 🤷 I know they played at NPR, but honestly, YouTube is probably my only way to see them. I wasn't actually there at the station. 🤷 Yeah, honestly? I’d love to catch them live sometime. Wouldn't that be something?

I saw them perform at NPR once, and man, they are brilliant live. Was it December 7th, 2006? Let me check Google... Oops, my bad. It was December 8th.

Yeah, maybe they aren't quite built for a massive stage. Elwuss told me they were incredible. 🤷 I couldn't make it because of basketball practice and a game, which honestly sucks. That's the worst part about sports, missing out on stuff like this.

I always say the same thing: even for us punk fans, everything sounds just as good once you finally discover Thermal... 😉

It’s better to find out now than to never find out at all, right? And honestly, that doesn't just apply to this thread, does it? 🤷

There was also a show on April 12, 2005

So, what does it actually mean if I can still pull this off during this current year...

Al San messed up again, I couldn't make it out for personal reasons.
I was even thinking about playing some Big Black.

I think I made it to both shows. Mike watt 🙂 , Octopus and Halcyon were actually heading out to the Netherlands tonight, so we caught them mid-set just as they were packing up to head back. There was also an interview with an American that I need to track down somewhere

I honestly feel like Thermals would absolutely crush it on a massive main stage if someone would just finally hook them up with some huge Marshall stacks and let that classic rock haze fill the air🙂

No, that’s not quite right, man. Hal, Harold Wright54, and Cveka went somewhere—I can't recall exactly where—but the Netherlands trip was back in 2004. Didn't you all head over to Turkey around that same time? 🤷

You know what's funny? He actually went to Turkey too. 😵

He just flew there. Meanwhile, Cveka and I played the martyr and took the Greyhound bus. :antifa:
