I’m really hoping we see some other indie icon from somewhere like Mali, Burundi, or even Benina—otherwise, this whole festival is going to be a total letdown. ☕

I’m really hoping they stepped up the organization this year; last year was an absolute train wreck.

We should probably start dropping some names right now, just to rub it in for everyone who was too slow to grab their tickets...

Just got another update from the Coachella VIP crew about who's hitting the lineup for the June 3rd and 4th weekend at Central Park. Looks like Fela Kuti & Egypt 80 are taking over the Apple stage as the main act.
So they're basically the second headliners now? The announcement says "main acts" on the Apple stage... weird.

Seriously though, come on guys, bring us some actual talent. It feels like we only ever get international acts, but there’s never any budget for the big US or UK headliners.

Honestly, who cares? I’m not giving them a single cent. Once we hit April and May, the concert lineup is going to be absolutely killer. It’s not worth wasting money on those total losers and bottom-feeders who show up to every mediocre gig 🤷

That’s what people are wearing now.
Actually, screw that!* 😁

For real though. Is this supposed to be a contemporary African music festival featuring Nick Cave as a special guest?
Maybe Cave will bring some indie rockers to replace the EDM acts so it actually fits the vibe. 😠
I'm just waiting for them to announce some brass bands, Tame Impala, or those South American groups from Union Station so the lineup finally feels complete.

Screw you all too!!! I'm just saying, we shouldn't have this happening every single year like a bunch of atheists at a revival meeting. 🙄
Personally, I think it would be absolutely incredible if someone like David Byrne showed up. 🙂
@čvins - if my memory serves me right, wasn't last year's Coachella held on those weird off-days? Was it Monday and Tuesday, or Tuesday and Wednesday... 🤔
You can just dream about them playing "Tulip"... that's not really that Cave vibe anymore... and don't even get me started on Radiohead... good grief...
