I’m just sitting here waiting for them to announce a marching band, some indie folk group, or those South American street performers from Grand Central Station before I decide if the lineup is finally complete.

honestly, maybe Ilko is the one who handpicked the whole damn thing!?!?! 😲 😲 😲

Look, the main organizer has always been great at pushing that whole world music vibe... I don't get why everyone's acting so shocked. 🤷

If it’s not your thing, just don't go...

Besides, if you actually want to catch Nick Cave, a Coachella ticket is way cheaper than what a solo show would cost if he ever decided to tour again...

Man, you guys are never happy...

If you can't stand it, then just don't go...

Besides, if you're actually interested in seeing Nick Cave, a ticket for a festival like Coachella is still going to be cheaper than if he were to organize a solo tour himself—which, let's face it, probably wouldn't happen anytime soon anyway...

Seriously, people are never satisfied...

Well, look, if things keep going this way, that actually sounds like a pretty solid plan... Though, picturing Cave out in a field with a drink in one hand and a beer in the other... it's not a bad image, especially since we aren't being promised some massive Woodstock-style revival down by the riverbank anymore... 🙂

The thing is, last year had a totally different lineup, so if you buy a ticket blindly expecting the same vibe as last time, you're gonna be bummed.

It would be quite appropriate at this moment for that lovely hateful post by Basilov—was he even a 🤔?—to surface here. Truly fitting. 😠

Regardless, I find it increasingly easy to decide against attending any performance featuring these artists. 🤣

It’s like watching a single dust mote drift through a sunbeam in an empty room—small, quiet, and almost entirely inconsequential to the grand scheme of things. kaže:
Why on earth does New York City need yet another "world music festival"?🤷

🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, having that special guest perform was enough reason alone to grab a ticket. Paying $40 for a show at Cave in a chill setting would have been one thing, but charging $50 for a fake atmosphere at the Lisinski Concert Hall felt like a total crime; they might as well have handed out crazy shirts at the entrance, since the vibe wasn't exactly more relaxed.

Badly quoted 🙄... in my last post.
🤣🤣🤣 refer to this:

but seriously, what even is this? It feels more like some niche jazz lounge gig with a special guest appearance by Nick Cave than an actual lineup.

If you ask me, I’d pick Dunya Knebl as the headliner for Coachella over anyone else in a heartbeat.🙂

🙂

I'm telling you, Dunya Knebl would be my absolute choice for the main stage.☕

Honestly, things aren't looking great so far 😢

Back in Aspen, they’d just call this kind of mess "harvest day" instead of slapping a fancy label like Coachella on it 🙂

I’m starting to get the feeling that the whole damn Coachella production is being run by the blind esperantist association 😎

Don't look down on our Black brothers; they have nothing to eat down there and need a chance to earn a living. They are struggling because of you cynical European jerks.😁

Jesse Sanchez60 said:Maybe I'm just shooting in the dark here, but it finally clicked for me. The guy who's booking almost every single act at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival actually spent the last couple of weeks booking Broken Social Scene in Russia and PJ Harvey in Poland. 🤷

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA PJ 🙂 You think you’re being funny, don't you? You think it’s some grand, hilarious joke to suggest I’d spend my entire life walking a dog every single day? Let me tell you something: there is absolutely nothing amusing about that prospect. It sounds less like a lifestyle choice and more like a lifelong sentence of endless, repetitive chores. Not exactly my idea of a good time. 😢

Haha, that would be quite the bold promise if she wasn't already having such a blast enjoying it! 🙂

Honestly, if things were actually organized like that in New York City, wouldn't that be something? Just imagine. It would be such a relief. 😁

Trying to mask that micro-cerebral hysteria?

The lineup for this year's Coachella VIP Experience (June 3rd and 4th) just keeps getting better. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are hitting the Budweiser Stage at Central Park...
