So, here’s the situation. I have $5000 to work with, but honestly, I need everything from scratch. My goal is to build a gaming rig that will absolutely crush every single title released over the next five years without breaking a sweat. I also need a solid Full HD LED TV—at least 32 inches—to hook this PC up to. Beyond that, I’m looking for a desk that can handle the PC, mouse, speakers, keyboard, and headset, plus all the necessary cables and a high-quality surge protector. Throw in two Xbox controllers, and I want the whole setup to look sleek, featuring a chassis with a large, clean window and some nice lighting. Since I don't live in the metro area, I'll need doorstep delivery for the entire haul. I'll be paying in cash!

Honestly, there's no point in me suggesting a desk. He should just pick one that fits his own style, his vibe, how the rest of his room looks, etc.—I mean, if I had that kind of cash, I’d definitely go custom too.

The price tag is higher because the specs are pretty demanding, and honestly, the sum at the top varies wildly depending on which component you swap out.

Btw, the TT A31 is absolute garbage—poor build quality and mediocre components, even though people overrate it all the time. I ended up upgrading to a 212+ myself; are you even sure that NH D14 is going to fit inside?

And look, he specifically mentioned wanting a case with a nice, large window. I don't get why you're nitpicking every tiny detail like it's life or death. Personally, I think the case looks good and everything should fit fine. You're already tearing him apart over the total cost, and we haven't even factored in a desk yet. Plus, you didn't even mention an HDMI cable for the 3D TV connection, which he'll definitely need since the TV supports 3D!

Personally, I find this case (EternalKnight tta31) quite visually appealing, and it features the side window I was looking for—that's really my main priority. To be honest, I’d probably be even happier with a Cooler Master Storm Trooper, but the price tag is significantly higher, and I have no intention of sacrificing performance just to force weaker components into the build to make the budget work!

If you’re dead set on having a side window, you can find higher-quality builds like the SILVERSTONE Redline RL01B-W or the Zalman Z5 plus. Additionally, if your GPU stays under 29cm, you should definitely look into the Zalman Z9 U3, Z9 plus, or the Z12 plus...

Like I said before, I’d personally think about picking up an Intel 530 ssd.

It’s looking a little steep for me. Both builds are over $150 above my budget, and honestly, I think I'll just hang tight and wait to see if someone else puts something together. By the way, thanks for all the effort—you guys did a great job on these, but money is the main issue here.

For $2,500 USD, you could just grab a brand-new console and a massive TV. Honestly, what kind of PC can you even build for that amount?
With that budget, you could also pick up a tablet or maybe a laptop for browsing and just enjoying yourself.
You might even have enough left over for a decent mini hi-fi system and a comfy new recliner.

I'm not really feeling this case. I want something with a larger window, maybe something similar to the swiftpilot EternalKnight tta31 model.

BTW, if you're planning on running Tri-X, those cards are over 12 inches long. They won't fit in some of the cases I mentioned earlier because of how the drive cages are positioned.
