The real question is how they pull it off.

maybe if you spent less time lurking on these boards😬

No biggie, you're actually pretty great (especially that thread about the underwear).
You're killing it😎

But there's definitely a point to what he said above...👍

but the real question is, how??

honestly, I've been running on empty like this for the last 4 years.. 😂

My sleep schedule is all over the place... Honestly, it’s mostly because of my responsibilities. I hate to admit it, but I guess I’m just another victim of this frantic, fast-paced American lifestyle, and I’m only 19. It doesn't really matter to me when I hit the pillow or when I finally wake up, because after about 20 minutes, I’m wide awake and feeling about 90% recharged and ready to tackle whatever is on my plate. If something needs to get done, it gets done. I’m one of those people who can function on two, three, or four hours of sleep, but then suddenly I'll crash for 15 or 16 hours straight. I try to catch up on rest whenever I possibly can. Of course, I haven't even come close to making up for all that lost sleep yet, though I really hope I can one day...

If not, well, I guess I'll just have to kick the bucket first. Hehehe

Look, there's nothing wrong with you—you're great (especially that thread about the underwear).
You're killing it 😎

The forum? I'm not even on it that much... my computer is just always running and I happen to be around. And the underwear? Everyone thought I was joking, but I was being dead serious...😬

Anyway, about sleep... I woke up at 4:30 this morning even though I didn't need to be up until 5:50. Yesterday I had the whole day off😲 , but I just couldn't get to sleep. I ended up out looking at horses and the lake instead...
As I get older, I honestly feel like sleeping is just a waste of time.

🙂I get that, but I want to actually enjoy myself once I hit retirement... though most people don't really think about that (at least not here on this forum).😬

Greetings.
I suppose I should join this discussion, as I find myself trapped in a similar state of perpetual exhaustion...
To give you some context, my only significant health issue has been high blood pressure, which I’ve managed to stabilize over the last few years by overhaulng my lifestyle. I cut out alcohol entirely, I've never smoked, and I commute to work on my bicycle every single day—usually covering about 19 miles miles (even when it's pouring rain, though then I deal with certain local cops who give me suspicious looks, as if they're convinced I belong in a psychiatric ward rather than on a bike). My job isn't sedentary, and I haven't eaten meat in nearly twelve years due to my personal convictions. For the past two years, I've maintained a consistent shift schedule, but now my coworkers are starting to push back. They want to force me into a rotating roster where I switch between morning and afternoon shifts every week. I fear such a disruption to my biological rhythm will devastate my sleep patterns... and frankly, it already does. When I'm on the morning shift, I barely get three hours of sleep, and by the time Thursday and Friday roll around, I am in a complete state of ruin... I otherwise feel better than ever, brimming with energy, but I worry that this period of feeling "too good" might be a precursor to a total physical collapse from sheer depletion😬 . I try to use Sundays for absolute rest, often sleeping for ten hours straight, but then the entire day is lost... especially if I attempt a hike through the Rockies, which is beneficial, I suppose... hm...
Please, offer some counsel. I am starting to feel my strength waning, and once that happens, it triggers irritability, strained interpersonal relationships, and so on...
Thank you.

perhaps a bit hyperactive😁
