I’m honestly not sure what all the fuss is about. Personally, I didn't find the movie scary at all, and I don't quite get why there was such a massive debate over whether it should be shown here in the United States. Okay, I'll admit that the Clown is pretty creepy, but the actual plot didn't rattle me. In my opinion, the story was a bit too predictable. I'd love to hear what you all thought of it!

I guess we were all supposed to find this movie terrifying when we were kids

Honestly, I thought it was just boring—way too drawn out and not scary at all😢
Unfortunately, I didn't get around to watching it until I was already well into my 20s😁😁😁

Horror flicks leave a mark on kids.

When I first sat down to watch that series, I couldn't catch a wink of sleep for nights on end. I didn't have the guts to step foot in the kitchen, the basement, or any dark corner of the house without feeling a massive wave of dread—not to mention how much the whole clown thing messed with my head...🙂

Honestly, no other horror movie ever wrecked my psyche quite like that one did when I was young.

I can't even begin to imagine how this movie ends. King is a total genius! 👏

God, this thing terrified me when I was a kid. Honestly, I didn't even want to watch the final episode, but my parents talked me into it. 😁 There’s just something about clowns in movies that gets under my skin... kind of like that doll from Poltergeist...
But this clown? Definitely not scary. 😬 He’s actually pretty hilarious. 😂


Spawn: Just get me to a hospital.
Clown: A hospital? Have you looked in a mirror lately? Burnt man walking. Not even the entire cast of "ER" could piece you back together

Clown: [covering ears] Why'd you hafta go and say the "G" word? La la la la.

Clown: You're dead. D-E-D. Dead.

Clown: I love the smell of burning asphalt in the morning.

Clown: [in cheerleader get-up] That's a lovely dress... I wonder if they have it in my size?

There isn't a single bad movie featuring killer clowns...😁

I honestly can't even begin to explain how much I love just sitting around and yapping about nothing in particular... it's like my favorite pastime at this point. There’s something so therapeutic about just letting the words flow, you know? No agenda, no pressure, just pure, unadulterated rambling about whatever random thought pops into my head... It's basically my superpower at this stage... 😁

I don't think it's quite like that, but maybe the clown isn't actually a killer here. It feels more like some kind of monster using a clown costume as a disguise. In that case, any kid who gets attacked might just see whatever they're most afraid of instead. I remember watching a horror movie at the local AMC theater years ago and being absolutely terrified of werewolves; if that happened in this story, a kid might see a werewolf instead of a clown because of a fear like that. You know what I mean? 👍

A close friend of mine is still completely traumatized by that movie—it’s been years, yet she still gets the chills just hearing its name. She’s developed this massive phobia of clowns because of it. Honestly? When I first saw it back when I was maybe ten, it absolutely terrified me, but looking back now, it feels like just your standard, run-of-the-mill horror flick. I clearly remember my older friends used to strictly forbid us from watching that series back in the day, claiming it would give us nothing but nightmares and pure dread.

Just watched a movie. It was decent enough. A solid flick about killer clowns, Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

It’s actually pretty simple—everyone here grew up watching it, and naturally, we were all terrified out of our wits.😬 It just doesn't hit the same way when you watch it through adult eyes; you missed out on that core childhood lesson. You really have to see it when you're five or six years old to get the full effect...

Five or six years old? Honestly, bravo. I was twelve when I saw it and I was absolutely traumatized, but then again, what King does during those formative years is simply impossible to process. And to think the folks over at NBC used to air every single episode right around eight in the evening. How charming.

I caught this when I was maybe 8 or 9... but honestly, I’m just curious about what was actually in that Clown movie that had kids running to see it like they were some kind of zombies 🤔

If my memory serves me right, besides the evening screenings, they even had matinees the following day

Thank God I skipped that one 😁😁😁 because honestly, even watching 2001: A Space Odyssey on a ten-dollar budget felt like a total nightmare to me 😁😁😁 brrrrrrrr

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but you guys keep mixing up the mini-series with the movie... We all watched the series when we were kids, but from what I can tell, the movie is just a poorly put-together version of that final episode. I loved the series back in the day, but something tells me I’ll only enjoy it today if I can track down the actual show instead of the film. film Suckz!👎

Honestly, that stuff used to mess with my head for days, sometimes weeks, when I was just a kid. It's traumatizing. You get genuinely freaked out. It’s a fact. 😁

There isn't really a "movie" or a "series" to argue about here, because let's be real, it's a mini-series. I can't tell you exactly how many parts it's broken into, but every single version is identical—whether you're watching it on NBC, grabbing the DVD, or even digging up an old VHS tape somewhere.

The first part of the miniseries holds its own, but they’re bound to blow the second half... neither the "grown-up" actors are particularly compelling, nor is the writing actually any good.
