Are we talking about his conduct inside the ring? Or just how he carries himself in everyday life? If it's the latter, why even bother bringing it up? And if it's the former, what exactly does that entail?

Look, you have to understand—fighters say all kinds of nonsense. Some of them are just full of themselves, acting all arrogant and puffed up, and frankly, it's ridiculous.

I think it’s pretty damn obvious why I said Damir is a decent guy—character-wise, at least—and I shouldn't have to spell that out.
Or to put it more simply—calm, humble, well-meaning, cordial, polite...

...as far as I'm concerned, the most disrespectful thing you can see is when an opponent drops their hands—you know, opening up their guard—right there in the cage. To me, that’s pure condescension and a total lack of respect for the sport... though, usually, those are the guys who end up losing.☕

I haven't really seen that happen in the big championship fights.
maybe it isn't even about being disrespectful... sometimes they just run out of gas and can't hold the guard up anymore... depends on if it happens at the start or toward the end of the fight, I guess...

I find it way more disrespectful when a fighter takes a heavy shot and then just gestures at their opponent—like, "Come on, hit me harder, you can do better than that, this was nothing!" 😬

It's often (though not always) just a sign they're hurting. It's their way of venting without making a painful face. An experienced fighter will know exactly how to capitalize on that.
