I saw part of it, maybe from the halfway point on. It was playing on TV here a few days ago rather than in theaters—actually, I think it was just last weekend (right around 9/11)...

Btw, I watched this two-hour documentary about Flight 93 the other day, where the families of the victims spoke. Just like they showed in the movie, the passengers realized via phone calls to their families that the Twin Towers had been hit. Their fear turned into bravery. One guy told his wife over the phone that they had to do something—they couldn't just sit there and wait for those terrorists to crash them into the ground, because they knew those guys on Flight 93 had a huge goal too, since two planes had already hit the towers. One scene that really got to me was when a woman called her husband from the plane while she was flying over California. It was still super early, around 4 AM, and he was asleep. She left him a message on his machine saying there was a little problem, telling him not to worry and that she loved him. He didn't hear the message until much later... I guess that documentary was actually more interesting than the movie. I mean, the movie lets you visually experience some of the horror those people went through on the plane. At the end of the doc, they confirmed the plane crashed because the passengers stormed the cockpit and a struggle broke out; the families who had exclusive access to the black box said you could hear the sounds and voices from the cockpit during the fight. No F-16 shot the plane down. The Falcon jets were about 20 minutes away from the site at that time. Also, a couple flying their private plane saw Flight 93 at 11:00, banking left, right, up, and down, like something was definitely wrong. Anyway, Oliver Stone's WTC comes out in theaters in 20 days, and it’s going to show everything from the perspective of a NY police officer who survived under the ruins of the Twin Towers (Nicolas Cage plays him).

Yeah, WTC will probably play here in theaters too, but United 93 was on a regular TV channel.
I don't really go to the movies much, so I'll probably just wait for it to be on PPV or whenever it hits HBO or Encore or wherever... by then, maybe the new WTC will already be built...😁

Richard Hernandez13 said:Greengrass mentioned that the passengers on that flight were basically the first citizens of the post-9/11 world. By the time their plane actually took off—after sitting on the tarmac for 45 minutes—one WTC tower and the Pentagon had already been hit. While everyone on the ground was still totally clueless about what was happening or who was behind it, those people knew exactly what was going down.

If I remember correctly, that plane slammed into the ground at 622 miles/h and there was practically nothing left of it—which is why conspiracy theorists love to claim the plane didn't even exist in their "theories." 🙄

Right, because there definitely wasn't a plane... Honestly, if you haven't seen the documentary "Loose Change," go find it online. You can probably grab it from any site since there are no copyrights on it. Personally, I thought it was phenomenal—a solid ten out of ten. It’s made without all that cheesy American patriotism or any unnecessary exaggeration. Of course, you just have to ignore the fact that the whole thing on 9/11 was basically a show for the entire world, and that United 93 landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport at 10:45 AM right after it had been evacuated.🙂
And, btw, that "hijacker" in the photo from the first post is alive and working as an administrative supervisor for a Saudi airline, just like eight of the other "hijackers" are doing just fine.🙂

So, was the whole movie basically pointless? I mean, the plane part is fine... but the Twin Towers aren't there. That’s just how it stands. How could they have barricaded them so we wouldn't see?🙂

No, seriously... who actually knows what the truth is behind all of it. If a film shows one thing, maybe it means people were finally told what really happened, though maybe that's just wishful thinking... I don't get why they won't say why hundreds of employees didn't show up for work that day either... but if I could find that website talking about the weird stuff happening near the elevators—well, that would explain everything.

Hehe, check this out—they didn't just barricade them, they actually brought them down. 🙂
Look, so this doesn't turn into a whole thing about "conspiracy theories" (you know, how people call it when you're just being skeptical), I really hope we get a movie about 9/11 one day, something like Stone's JFK.

Of course, you have to ignore the fact that the whole thing on 9/11 was just a massive global stage production, especially considering United Airlines 93 landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport at 10:45 AM right after a total evacuation. 🙂

Not only that, but the WTC towers are still standing—they're just disguised with mirrors. A friend of mine was in New York City last week and managed to snap a shot from a blind spot:

For the naive souls who still don't grasp what actually happened, these next two photos will clear everything up:

Oh, it's already been made, my friend, it's already been made:

Wait, what are people on this site even talking about? This is the first time I've ever heard anything like that regarding this movie... They probably mean his next project, not this one. And that bit about the plane? Honestly, it's hilarious, even for someone like me. 🙂

And why am I the crazy one just because this is the first time I'm hearing that movie is being linked to those waters too? 🙂 All I've heard so far is that it’s some drama about human fate, and even Stone said in an interview that his next project would be the one actually dealing with what really went down. Clearly, I'm just out of the loop.
Seriously, love your communication style. 🙂

I guess that’s what blinds me every time I walk down Fulton Street. Probably just the glass, maybe my friend just caught them from a weird angle while taking photos... I might be looking at them from a different perspective since I don't see them clearly, even though they used to look so obvious from my office window once in a while.🤣

I only said what I did because people are speculating about everything lately, and honestly, nobody is ever going to know the real truth. Like, if everything was actually "staged," does anyone even know why? Maybe they were clearing out a section of the tracks or something... just empty buildings... but all that chaos? It feels intentional. I'm just wondering if anyone happens to stumble upon that website about "elevator glitches" from the day before the WTC fell... if you find it, please link it. It’s been a huge topic lately, but I can't quite remember the exact URL, damn it. It was a pretty wild discovery if they haven't taken the site down yet... it was blowing up.

Next time I'm out skating near the WTC site, maybe I'll try to snap some photos myself!😁 From a bad angle, I guess...

Honestly, Oliver Stone is such an idiot. I can't believe he had the nerve to make a movie that stupid.
It’s embarrassing.
Something about September 11th (especially regarding the World Trade Center) just doesn't add up. You can jump into the debate over here:

But claiming there was only one plane involved? What a load of garbage. That’s a total slap in the face to everyone who actually put in the work to investigate 9/11.

ps: Jessica Harris24, can you hop into this thread and explain that whole thing about the small change?

Don't tell me you actually buy into that whole fairy tale about a single plane circling the entire US, smashing into two skyscrapers and the Pentagon, before finally ending up in some field? 😲

Conspiracy theories are just pure nonsense, and honestly, it’s kind of embarrassing for anyone who actually buys into them. I mean, how do you look the families who lost their sons, daughters, and mothers on flights 11, 77, 175, and United 93 in the eye... and try to tell them it was just one plane hitting the WTC, then flying off to hit the Pentagon before crashing near Pittsburgh?🙄 Or maybe suggest missiles brought down the Twin Towers and took out part of the Pentagon... or even that UFOs were involved. Come on...

It’s pretty obvious you don't have a clue what you're talking about. And if you don't know anything, you shouldn't be trying to lecture anyone else.
An embarrassment?...
What you're calling "nonsense" is actually just a label people slap onto serious questions being raised by engineers and independent researchers all over the country—people who actually have the guts to challenge official narratives that insult our collective intelligence.
Why are they labeled that way? Because there are a massive number of uneducated, clueless Americans (who were taught basic Science instead of actual chemistry, physics, or biology) who heard a rumor that something felt off about the official story and started spouting total garbage in response to legitimate inquiries.

There is a huge difference between playing around with UFO stories or holographic aircraft and actually studying the structural failure of skyscrapers to find evidence of an additional energy source that could cause that level of destruction.

Don't get insulting.
If you actually want to join the conversation, there's a thread here that's recently been cleared of the fluff, where the discussion has actually leveled up to a more technical standard.
The focus there is on the causes of the collapse, not on Bush and his crew. At least, that's the attempt.

Over here, they titled it United 93. It’s almost been 6 years since the World Trade Center towers went down. Just finished watching this flick yesterday.

So, what's the actual takeaway from a movie like this? You've got a film based on true events, but it’s packed with all those typical clichés and moments where history feels a little too "polished."

But man, something hit me while I was watching. This thought has been swirling in my head for a while now. I've been reflecting on my own perception of Americans and the whole nation.
I used to see them as being so distant, like, only through pieces of pop culture.
Then, back in the late 90s, I picked up this infectious wave of anti-Americanism (which honestly seems pretty stupid to me now). Then came the wars against terrorism, which just added more fuel to the fire, making everyone even more annoyed with the US and its big-name leaders—people we all used to laugh at, right?
During that era, you had guys like Michael Moore and Borat. In my opinion, it all went way too far and became pretty ridiculous; it just doesn't give you the full picture.

But over the last two years, I've basically had an epiphany about America 🙏

My perspective is totally different now. After looking at so much history, seeing all the different walks of life, studying the mindset and spirit of the people, the incredible landscapes, and the massive human achievements... it finally clicks why the US is the greatest country on Earth 🙂) Yep.
