I really can't stand them. Maybe I'll throw on one song here and there. But honestly?

Iron Maiden isn't really power metal; it's more like heavy-thrash.

Hannibal clearly isn't gay enough for my taste, so I'm not a fan. Not that their lyrics aren't occasionally total geek-metal nonsense anyway.

Learn how to write. And what’s your take on the other bands? What about Kamlot?

Sure, Blind Guardian has a few tracks that are easy enough to listen to. But at the end of the day, it’s still just geek metal.

Same here with Yngwie and those classic DragonForce albums like Power of the Dragonflame and Dawn of Victory... but man, my car's sound system is absolute garbage. It’s a struggle when I'm cruising through town on a hot summer day trying to vibe out...😎 😁

People show up expecting some cheesy country songs, but instead they get hit with pure metal—it’s way more intense than just some cheap guitar effect 😬 🙂

DragonForce and bands like them were a total game-changer for me just a couple of years back. I’m also really digging those two albums from Avantasia.🙂

It’s just not the same without Dillinger, Pig Destroyer, or Converge... I mean, look, I love pretty much any metal band out there, but when those three start playing? Everything else just fades into the background.

Look, I’ll be the first to admit that DragonForce is absolutely legendary, but honestly? Symphony of Enchanted Lands II is just a total slog to get through. It’s barely even metal anymore, is it? At this point, I’m just sitting here counting down the days until we finally get some new music from Blind Guardian!

If there is one thing I actually consider good, it’s that Kamelot album, Black Hall. Every single time I put it on, I'm just picturing pirate ships and all that stuff—it's such a beautiful record and honestly, it's just pure power metal. 🙂
