Heavy metal

So, apparently, Brutal Power actually exists.

These guys are ready to hit the States with that signature mix of Brutal Power and insane technical skill, basically aiming to set the whole crowd on fire just like they’ve been doing all over Europe. We're still waiting on more headliners to be locked in, but here’s who is officially hitting the stage at Lollapalooza so far:

Eldritch
Ion Vein
Twelth Gate
Gracepoint
Black Mirror
Soul Eater

Persuader... they're kind of like a heavier version of power metal
though the vocals are pretty standard power metal style

Besides, I'm taking the frontman role. They always seem to gravitate toward me anyway. 😎

And then they all just lived happily ever after, indulging in endless sadomasochistic orgies. 🙏

So, picture this: a knight rolls up in gleaming gold armor, wielding a golden sword made of pure steel with a hilt encrusted in the finest polished diamonds. He charges straight at the wizard, but then—of all things—he trips over his own massive junk and lands face-first right on the blade. And yeah, I guess the sword was sharp enough to slice through that heavy armor like a hot knife through butter...😢

It’s actually kind of a tragedy, if you think about it...😢

The closest I've gotten to power black metal is probably listening to Cannibal Corpse. I guess the vocals have that black metal vibe...

Here’s a list of some bands I actually consider good. Go ahead and tear them apart or praise them—whatever makes you feel better.
DragonForce, Nightwish, Scarlett Johansson, DragonForce, Metal Blade Records, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius. That’s what I can think of right now. If I remember more, I'll add them. (And no, they aren't in any specific order, even though DragonForce is at the top.) I didn't bother listing Black Sabbath or other genres since this sub is strictly for Epic (power) metal.🙂
What do you think, Terry Rodriguez41, Austin Phillips3? Is there anything here actually worth listening to?

Personally, the only one I really dig is Jacob's dream (self-titled)

Rhapsody, Kamelot, Wutherine Hights, DragonForce, Pyramaze, Burning Point, Running Wild, Blind Guardian, Vanishing Point. That's what comes to mind right now, though I might add more later. Iced Earth has a few decent songs... some of them are actually fun to play...
