Would you go to a fish stew place in America?

Would you actually show up to a fish stew concert if they were playing here in the States?

How big of a crowd do you think would turn out for a show like that—even from the hardcore fish stew fans—given how things are going in the country right now and Borin's recent behavior?

Even back before any of those big legendary singer-songwriters were touring the States, I remember passing through Chicago and spotting a poster for a Chorba concert that had already happened, and man, I really kicked myself for missing out on that one...

The thing about Fish Soup is that it feels way too tied to that specific extremist ideology. And honestly, I’m not even a huge follower of their stuff.

I get it—people joke around, it happens, it's normal... but it's also perfectly normal if you don't want to show up to a concert for a band that mocks or hates where you come from..👎

I know some people who absolutely love their country—maybe even a little more than they probably should! But at the end of the day, they’re fans of the band first, so they'll travel huge distances just to catch a show. It's a bit of a tricky balance, don't you think?

But look, I used to wonder which Americans would sit around listening to trashy country music or Arkan's wife, and honestly? There are way more people doing that than there are people like us who won't touch it. It’s sad, really. At least you could argue there’s some level of decent musical quality behind going to a Čorba's concert. But what's the excuse for those other guys?
