I had a blast. It was a real performance, and I’m totally satisfied—the concert was phenomenal even though I only just finished listening to their full discography🙏
Honestly, when a band puts on a stage show that good, there isn't a dull moment in the house🙂

Anyway, whatever... 🙂 I wasn't quite as obsessed as everyone else around me—it didn't totally hit all my buttons—but honestly, they were solid. It just reinforced my old theory that we should pass a federal law requiring every single band to play one Bob Dylan cover per set. 😁

Huge shoutout to Aquarius, though—it’s been ages since I’ve heard a live sound that crisp. Even those few tracks I caught from the sidelines, once I backed away from the crowd, were crystal clear and sounded great.

Man, I haven't seen poses like that in forever... unknown walked out and actually commented on their outfits, asking, "What is this? Valentino?" My vibe was that most of them are exactly the kind of guys who would drive me insane if I ran into them at some party—you know, the types who pretend they play guitar or drums whenever a good song comes on. But hey, whatever, as long as the music is good.

Actually, let me give them one massive compliment, one of the biggest ones you'll ever get from me: at certain points, especially when it was just the vocals and keys, they really reminded me of Pavlov's Dog. 👍

The sound quality was honestly way better than I expected👍
Plus, their stage presence was just next level😵

Easily one of the best shows of the season, hands down

Every guy should aim for something like this—in my opinion—because the cut (and even the whole air around you) makes you look like the ultimate gentleman :-) Jonathan actually gained some points in my book after seeing this; he's really hit a new high.

I just wanted to add that my knees are still shaking from that second set... even though I knew it was coming—and I knew what kind of gear they use to close out shows—I honestly didn't expect it to hit me quite that hard.

And seeing Jonathan get so into it. It can sound so incredibly beautiful. (It really can. Even more so than Josh.)

My legs felt weak, my spine felt like it turned into live wire—:)—and my head felt like it was about to explode.

I could barely drive home; I almost took out that little toll booth at the exit of the park...

I can't imagine a stronger physical reaction to any kind of sound. Hmmm... maybe... if Matthew Ward had played Led Zeppelin???

It’s interesting because that second encore wasn't even planned; we checked the setlist later and "Little Rhymes" was actually supposed to be the finale.🙂
The crowd probably went so wild that they ended up playing four extra songs past the official setlist.🙂

I only really heard bits and pieces of them before, unlike my girlfriend who basically lives for their music. I didn't have that big "aha!" moment where I recognized all the hits, but man, their live energy and vibe totally won me over.

Oh, and nearly 16 years ago, I actually called someone a complete idiot right to their face—the last time I ever did that was to some guy named Kemal back when I was in the US Military, after he tried to pin some bullshit on me that could've landed me in huge trouble, which led to me throwing hands for the first and last time in my life. Anyway, this time it was just Ripper, who was acting all high and mighty, standing there by his coat rack and being a total jerk by blocking my way through the crowd to the restroom... what an idiot.🙄
