You guys just stepped back into civilization and immediately hit the forums—good Lord,
. So, the festival was killer. Saturday absolutely blew Friday out of the water, mostly thanks to the pyrotechnics (a mix of pure chaos and Mother Nature’s own flair). The stage setup and sound quality were insane, and even the Department of Homeland Security presence felt spot on. Honestly, I think this event is going to be a massive turning point for unknown, and it'll finally force the local crew to realize just how much potential this kind of thing actually has. I’ve got a good feeling about it, too, especially since the Mayor of Phoenix showed up both days. 🙂

Good grief. Remember when Filgi saw that guy on stage in a suit and asked if it was the Mayor again? Then we spent the rest of the night teasing her because there were like seven different mayors on stage. Someone clearly needs their eyes checked. 😁

But as far as I know, coastalpanther11, only two bands have even come close to doing what they did (though I was at one show, and maybe a third, but I don't follow the scene that closely). So... do you actually know something I don't? 😬

Well, I'm back, and I managed to walk away with five new badges and an official festival t-shirt. 😎
It was honestly such a blast. There were so many incredible bands—Against Me! was definitely a highlight, specifically 😍—and I’m already planning on coming back next year, provided my college orientation schedule doesn't clash with the dates. 😁

I should have mentioned that the Cogswells were also absolutely fantastic.🙏 🙏 🙏

Cog is honestly two hundred billion times better... that whole festival vibe just didn't suit them at all. If you ever get the chance to catch them in a club setting, don't pass it up.
