Chasing Amy (1997)

It’s got this soul you just don't see in movies anymore. I don't think Kevin will ever top Clueless.

I caught this on HBO a while back. It’s such a fantastic film.

Watching it really took me back to being younger, when I actually believed in love—real, genuine love.
Back when I knew exactly what it felt like to be head over heels.

It's a great piece of cinema. And not just because of the romance... it’s got everything, from the laughs to much deeper conversations.

Joey Lauren Adams is absolutely stunning, just incredible... 🙂

What a moment in time (1997), and what a movie. 😍

☕☕

I finally revisited this one recently, after what feels like forever. When I first sat down to watch it back in the early 2000s, I was absolutely floored by it, so I found myself wondering how it would land now that I've actually grown up a bit 😁 and I have to say, it has aged beautifully; it’s still an incredible piece of filmmaking. It remains my absolute favorite from Kevin Smith. There is something so Authentic about it, both in its emotional depth and the way the plot unfolds. Honestly, I had almost forgotten just how charming and genuinely good this movie is.

I can't get those scenes where they compare their injuries from oral sex out of my head 🤣

Seriously brilliant 🙏

Hands down, his best work is Clerks.

Nah, I’m with you on this one—this version is definitely better. Honestly, I think Clerks is way overrated. ☕
