Hot water alert!

I honestly can’t stand hot water. It has to be lukewarm—just barely above cold. I can’t deal with washing my hair in ice water, but for everything else? Give me a freezing shower any day.

That scalding heat you guys are talking about... 😱 😱 😱

And look, I don't care what men prefer; I’ve never been one for showering with someone else anyway. 😁

It really depends on the guy. Sorry to disappoint, but every man I know avoids hot water. Especially modern ones—mine practically burns himself because he uses the water I just showered in...

Hot water—oh, yes! The only time we actually deal with anything cold is maybe sometime in August, right before that brutal summer heatwave kicks in. ☕

Today I decided to experiment with a cold shower—well, lukewarm, though if we’re being honest—and the whole attempt ended rather disgracefully with a loud yell and a frantic, desperate thrashing of my left leg, all in a vain effort to reach the Armalov faucet switch.😁

You only live once, I told myself, so I just surrendered to the steam instead.☕

I’m stepping out of the bathroom looking like I just crawled out of a volcanic cave; everything feels like it's evaporating right off my skin—honestly, pass me a sauna!
We can leave the "charm" of ice-cold water to the Navy SEALs and those other questionable groups.☕

maybe you could try starting with some warm water and then switching to hot for the final five minutes, just for the hell of it. You don't want to be shivering; stick to a pleasant warmth, though I'd suggest limiting the scalding hot stuff to a brief window.

Well, that was an interesting attempt. I suppose you should have asked for some advice first. 🙂 Gradually... just start using slightly colder water every day... and maybe you'll notice a difference in about a week or so.

I don't think there’s much of a connection there. It really just comes down to biology; some people thrive in the heat while others prefer the chill, and they have their own preferences when it comes to water temperature. Personally, I can't stand the heat.
I honestly think I fall into one of those extreme categories when it comes to heat tolerance. 😁
Some people live for the sauna, but I tried it exactly once and felt lightheaded before I even stepped through the door. I gave up right then and there—not that I was dying to go back, but I figured I should at least try 😁 .
I highly doubt people who struggle with the cold could ever truly train themselves to enjoy ice-cold showers. They might make minor adjustments, sure, but a total transformation? I don't buy it.

I tried taking a cold shower once. Since the water was freezing, I started gasping for air, my heart was racing like crazy, and I could barely catch my breath. So, yeah, I don't think I'll be attempting that again once my heart isn't as young as it used to be. 😁

It’s an interesting thing, though. Like, when I try to turn the shower down a bit—nothing extreme, just cooler than my body temp—I just end up shivering and feeling totally uncomfortable. But then, if I dive straight into the Atlantic in May when it's around 60 degrees, I'm actually fine.

I'm a huge fan of those steaming hot showers myself—honestly, nothing beats it! I love how everything just feels so cozy when it’s warm... plus, I don't really deal with my skin getting all dry and flaky.

A temperature around 105°F works perfectly for me too. 😬
