How to save games on PlayStation 2

I’m thinking about ripping a few old games off some DVDs for my PlayStation 2.
I just finally got a DVD burner installed in my computer, but I’m honestly feeling a bit lost on which software I should actually be using.
Could anyone point me in the right direction or give me some advice?

Alcohol 120%

That’s just a tool for ripping and burning images; it works perfectly fine. 👍

Though, I guess you could probably get by using Nero too. *shrugs*
