I’ve been wondering—are there any folks here who have actually gone through the ringer with Herbalife weight loss products? I'm curious to hear what your experience was like and if they actually live up to the hype.

Don't even get me started...........I stuck with it for about three and a half months, dropped 15 pounds, and then after three months, the weight just started creeping back up slowly....all the way to a 20-pound gain........it’s absolutely infuriating!
I know plenty of other people who fell into the exact same trap...yeah, it helps you drop the weight, but man, it is so hard not to gain it all right back...maybe you have to be more hardcore about it or keep grinding away on Herbalife for another six months or something...I don't have the magic answer, but my experience? Definitely wouldn't recommend it!

Did you actually get blood work done after using those supplements?

I know a woman whose blood panels were a total disaster after using Herbalife. It was so bad her doctor straight up asked if she was on drugs. That tells you everything you need to know.
Go ahead, get some labs done and let us know what happens. Word is they’ve got some nasty stuff in them that forces the weight off.

I actually dropped about 25 pounds in roughly three months back when I did this two years ago.
Look, if you’ve got the grit and can actually stay consistent, losing weight isn't even the hard part—it's just that brutal first week where everything feels impossible. If you can somehow white-knuckle your way through those first seven days, your body eventually just settles into a rhythm and things start moving in the right direction... honestly, out of all the weight I've lost over the last two years, I've only gained back about 4 or 5 pounds, so I’m pretty stoked with those results. But let's be real here, I’m still hitting the gym at least twice a week and watching what I eat, because you can't just check out completely.
For me, this was hands down the most effective way to drop the weight.👍

The other day, I listened to someone raving about Herbalife—but once she actually started explaining her routine, I realized just how unhealthy it really is.

Apparently, breakfast consists of drinking two or three glasses of water along with two of those "compresses"—or tablets, as they call them. Who knows what's actually in there? Most likely some sort of vitamin-mineral supplement.

Then for lunch, you pour down another half-liter of water with those two pills, and suddenly you can eat whatever you want (though, honestly, I wonder how much anyone could actually eat after chugging half a liter of water... I just don't know)

And dinner follows a similar pattern.
Naturally, you lose weight because you aren't actually eating anything.

OF COURSE, the weight comes right back once you return to a normal diet and stop using the products—it’s just the classic yo-yo effect.

Honestly, stick to the rules of engagement. I lost two pounds following the Zone diet over three weeks—and I still eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, fish, and everything else.👋

I think I tried a Herbalife product once—some kind of vanilla and chocolate powder you’d mix into milk, if my memory serves me right. Honestly, it tasted so good that I ended up polishing off the whole thing way too fast, so I didn't actually lose any weight. 😢 I recall they tried to upsell me on some extra pills or supplements too, but the price tag was just too steep, so I passed.
Anyway, none of that stuff is worth it. I managed to melt away my extra pounds just by riding my bike. I always see heavier people out there jogging, but man, that looks exhausting! It’s probably no wonder so many of them quit after a week. Cycling is where it's at! Highly recommend it! 👍

In my estimation, they’re simply far too expensive, and frankly, their product line seems rather limited if you're looking at anything beyond basic weight loss. I suspect Kenneth Miller79 offers a much more diverse selection, and—if I'm being honest—at much more reasonable price points. 😉

I was actually just thinking about this—I tried Herbalife a while back and, frankly, it just wasn't for me. I don't know how anyone could stick with that for three and a half months... ugh. 🙂

I really can't stand it when people trash one brand just to smear the competition—all so they can peddle their own similar crap instead. 👎

Wouldn't it be better, cheaper, and actually healthier to just eat two or three slices of fresh cheese and some bread instead of a shake?
Or maybe a boiled egg and a salad, or........

I jumped into this with a friend about 12 years ago—but once I saw her spiraling into a total mess, I took it as my cue to step away.

Or maybe a boiled egg and a salad, or... whatever else.

Look, when I was actually using this stuff, it allowed me to go without food for the exact windows prescribed by the diet plan—something I definitely couldn't have done on just bread and cheese, because I would’ve been hit with the shakes, stomach jitters, headaches... the whole nine yards.
The thing is, that shake—since it's basically complete protein nutrition—probably has all those specific components that keep your body running smoothly so you don't end up passing out, which is what Amanda Barrett28 was talking about.
All I know is that with these products, I actually pulled off my goal, something I never managed to do with any other diets.
As for health, I felt great, honestly satisfied, and my digestion actually improved, too. And regarding the money... well, I've wasted a fortune on countless stupid things in my life, but at least this gave me the results I was looking for.
I'm only posting this to share my own experience, which seems to be the only positive one in this thread...
Sure, I had massive willpower and stayed persistent, but I have to admit, the fact that I dropped all that cash on the food was a pretty big motivator, too.

Sure, they could have—😉 but honestly, when was anyone ever excited about reinventing the wheel when they already had perfectly good hot water at home?

And look, electrictinker18—skipping meals entirely (even if it's just once in a while) isn't healthy. And neither is any supplement that forces you into that position.

If you want the best diet food, just head to your local farmer's market—it costs way less, and I'm pretty sure it's a lot better for you than any processed shake.

And frankly—it isn't healthy for electrictinker18 to go without food, even if it just means skipping a single meal. Nor is any supplement that might lead to that result.

If you're looking for the best diet food, you'll find it at any local Farmers Market—it’s much cheaper, and I'm fairly certain it's significantly healthier than any shake.

Just eat a little less, stay active, and try to get out for at least an hour of running every single day... you'll see those pounds just start to melt away. 😁
Honestly, all these supplements? They're basically just a tax on foolish people. I mean, just imagine how much weight you'll end up gaining back once you stop using them. 😁

I suppose the best approach is for everyone to just stay tucked in bed, occasionally popping a miracle pill, and calling it a day. I mean, if we follow that logic, we’ll all end up looking like Apollo and possessing the wisdom of Socrates, right? 😁

Honestly, you guys should probably head over to the running thread instead. You'll find some pretty incredible experiences there—it costs next to nothing, and if you actually stick with it, the results are pretty much a sure thing. 👍

Now, I’m certainly not out to drag them through the mud—the products are actually quite decent, I've used them myself—but if you're asking whether they are overpriced? Well, that's just an objective fact.👋

Look, I use Herbalife and it works fine for me.

The shake basically takes the place of one or two meals, providing all the vitamins and minerals my body needs. I make sure to drink two glasses of warm water before having the shake itself. Personally, I stick to it for breakfast and dinner, then just eat a regular, solid lunch 🙂

And honestly, I’ve dropped about 15 pounds in two months... which is plenty for me, since I have zero interest in those ridiculous "LOSE 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK" fad diets.

At the end of the day, everyone's different... what works for one person might hit someone else totally differently.

The shake replaces one or even two meals—it covers all the essential vitamins and minerals my body needs. I drink two glasses of warm water before having the shake itself. My routine involves having it in the morning and again at night, while I eat a proper, solid lunch. 🙂

And yes—I managed to lose about 15 pounds in two months... which is plenty for me, since I have no interest in those "LOSE 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK" type of diets.

Ultimately, it's all highly individual... everyone reacts differently.

Please check back in with us once you start eating actual breakfast and regular meals again instead of just relying on shakes. Right now, you are essentially only eating lunch—and no matter how much you eat during that meal, I highly doubt you are consuming more than 700 calories a day.

You have likely slowed down your metabolism—just wait until you try to introduce real food back into your diet...

I truly hope you don't end up gaining 30 pounds back, because that is usually what happens when you starve yourself. You are essentially tricking your body right now because the shake provides a false sense of fullness. But, of course, you cannot sustain this indefinitely.

You’ve really slowed your metabolism down—just wait until you start fueling up properly, it's going to be quite the adjustment...

I’m really hoping you don't end up gaining 30 pounds back, because that’s usually what happens when you basically starve yourself. You're tricking your body right now because those shakes make you feel full, but let's be real, you can't live on liquid alone forever.
