Okay, sure, the example is basically a masterpiece, but I was honestly cracking up the whole time I watched it—especially during that Robert Rodriguez bit with Banderas... Tim Roth is absolutely phenomenal. And that final scene with "the misbehavers," where the camera pans over all that absolute chaos and Banderas just goes, "did they misbehave?" >>> 😂

Is anyone else actually a fan of this movie?

The only real letdown with the movie was that on the second watch, I didn't get hit quite as hard by the laughs as I did the first time.
(it’s kind of like how *Evil Dead* can't really compete—honestly, this one just doesn't hold a candle to Four Rooms)

FOUR ROOMS is absolutely brilliant... I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it, and honestly, I can never quite decide which storyline hits harder.
Actually, I do know—there's one specific segment that had me literally rolling on the floor laughing—it’s the part where Banderas and his wife head out to some party, leaving the kids behind, and oh boy...
between that woman in the bed and the little girl thinking her brother's feet smell like death...

Okay, let’s be real—the first two segments definitely don't hit with that same brilliant, chaotic energy as the last two. But honestly? I think Tim Roth totally saved the whole thing for me. It’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. About seven years ago, I actually played this during my birthday party thinking it would be hilarious, but I quickly realized I was the only one cracking up, so I just shut it off... 😢

And I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like I meet so few women who actually vibe with dark, edgy humor—you know, stuff like Quentin Tarantino, Jackass, or South Park. It feels like most fans of that style end up being guys. That’s the worst part; I’ll be grabbing coffee with a girl, drop a joke that I find absolutely savage, and she just gives me this blank, judging stare. At that point, I just shrug and go, "Whatever! 🙂''

I definitely fall into that demographic—I usually catch those kinds of movies either solo or with a guy... I honestly couldn't stomach watching them with a group of women—never.
When I first sat down to watch Four Rooms—specifically when that absolute riot involving Antonio Banderas, those kids, and the woman in the bed kicked off... I swear, I nearly fell right out of my chair laughing...

I was literally screaming and rewinding those scenes fifty times

Pretty cool flick.
Decent watch, honestly.
The plot? It’s nothing special. It isn't serious, it isn't funny, it isn't a horror, and it definitely isn't psychological.
But it's still an engaging, solid movie. There's no real depth here—it feels like the directors were just playing around a bit.
The staging is a little different, too. A bit of a weird one.
Worth a look if you have the time.
Just don't expect a masterpiece.
