William Shatner deserves all the credit for Star Trek.
I’ve got this video of him at a fan convention where he basically tells everyone: "Get a life, people... I mean, it's just a TV show!" Then he points at this one pathetic guy and goes... "You, have you ever kissed a girl? Look at yourself."
After seeing that, I kind of lost respect for him.👎

Personally, I found the autopilot sequence in the first installment to be quite the standout...

I only ever saw the first part... and the guy at the video rental shop actually laughed at me when I picked it up, acting like it was some total garbage movie, but it’s really not. 🤣 😂 🤣

I saw the first installment when I was about 9 or 10 years old... back when they used to run those movie marathons on the local TV station.

Ever since then, I've been convinced it's the best comedy ever made. Nothing else even comes close.
(Okay... maybe except for *The Naked Gun*, but that's about it.)

I just finished watching this film, and frankly, I can confidently say that Bare Knuckles was a far superior experience than this mess!!!!!🙄

I find myself feeling rather let down by the whole thing, though I suppose one must account for the fact that we are looking at a production from 1982.😁

Sure, I missed all three of those total flops, but I've got this copy of Airplane! recorded that I've watched a billion times from childhood until now. I just rewatched it, and honestly, it’s such a high-caliber film because of the cast. 🙄
