Fritz Lang - "Woman in a Window

Did anyone catch that segment on ABC earlier today—I think it was around 2:00 PM?

The movie was absolutely stellar in every sense—tense, gripping, and honestly, it kept me right on the edge of my seat the entire time. But that end—WHY?! Why did it have to go with that typical, mindless American happy ending? I mean, don't get me wrong, the film itself is incredible and I truly loved it, but if it hadn't ended with him just waking up like that... wouldn't that have been much better?😕

So, anyway—what are your thoughts on all this?

I'm totally with you—that ending was a mess. They really shouldn't have shown him waking up like that; it felt way too much like some cliché scene from the Wizard of Oz with Dorothy waking up. 🙂

Then again, if I remember correctly, the script was based on a book, so maybe that's why (meaning the book probably has a pretty lousy ending too, haha).
