Alright, what’s the deal with Coachella and why did you all just tear it apart so aggressively?😕

There’s this incredible outdoor festival happening just outside of Austin, running from July 3rd through the 6th, 2003. It’s one of those rare gems where you can snag affordable lodging and catch an absolutely stellar lineup without breaking the bank—honestly, if you wanted to experience a music scene of this caliber back home in the States, you’d probably have to empty your entire savings account. I'm talking about heavy hitters like Tricky, Stereo MC's, Moloko, Rony siz, and a whole host of other phenomenal acts. To be perfectly honest, the whole reason I started this thread was to gauge how many people were actually planning to make the trip, but since nobody seems to be biting... well, I guess it doesn't really matter anymore.

I suppose I was planning on heading out without any drama, but my parents ended up making things a bit complicated, so I guess I won't be going after all.

Honestly, I don't think there's any reason to start a massive drama over this because I really doubt anyone in that crowd would be looking for trouble. People head out to festivals like Coachella for one thing: the music and just having a killer time, so I can't find a single logical reason to be worried about safety or anything like that. My actual frustration stems from the fact that I have a mountain of exams coming up, which means I’m stuck studying instead of being out there...

I suppose I am in a bit of a tough spot myself, but there isn't much to be done about it, I guess. My mom seems to be most concerned about the group of people I was planning to go with, though. They happen to be about six, seven, or eight years older than me, if that makes any difference.😁

I just really hope everyone heading out has an absolute blast—though, honestly, I don't even have any doubts about that part. It would just be great if they could drop us a line once they're back in town, you know? Just a quick update on how everything went and all that good stuff...

It was absolutely, positively incredible
That’s all they’ve told me so far; they just arrived today.
I’ll probably be able to give you all the juicy details once I catch up with them in person. For now, I've only had a quick chat over the phone.

It seems like everyone is absolutely buzzing about Coachella right now, and honestly, it just makes me feel even more bitter that I missed out on the whole thing... but mark my words, I am definitely going next year, no matter what.
