I mean, what does any of that even have to do with what we're talking about here? hm

Quote : Platoon (tough watch, though... Tom Cruise is in it.)

😁 And Julia Roberts plays an Indian Girl in that same movie. 🙄

The mod could probably step up here too.

I suppose they could, if this Forum actually stayed focused on just one topic. Though, I doubt any mules would bother showing up for the Derby if all the horses vanished from the face of the Country. It just wouldn't be the same. 😁

restlesssurfer97 said:You kind of twisted my words there, man. My point was pretty simple: if you're actually into Butthole Surfers, you don't get to talk trash about U2.😉

Look, everyone’s got an inalienable right to their own take on U2, so let people speak. Honestly, if someone is deep into Butthole Surfers, there's a pretty high chance their critique of U2 will actually be smart and funny.

As for the American flag, it’s just another flag appearing in a movie, and there’s zero reason to ban it from being on screen.

Regarding 12 Monkeys, it’s definitely one of the weaker entries on that list.

And about Brad Pitt, he’s just not that good-looking.

When it comes to all that Americanized posturing in movies, it would be pretty hilarious to see a flick where the U.S. Army saves the entire world, or some leader from Mexico and Mexico gives a speech that gets rapt attention from Bedouins in the desert, grandmas in Moscow, and teenagers in Paris.

so there you have it: the setup, the rising action, the climax, the resolution, the Stars and Stripes, and finally... the end
and just to make it easy on the eyes, let's say it looks as good as an Ethiopian flag
it’s getting tedious, honestly; I see this stuff more often than I see my own mother
