Has anyone here had a chance to check out the new album from Šo!Mazgoon yet?
What’s the verdict? I haven't picked up a physical copy 🙂 so I'm curious. I only have that one "ganje" version from the VIP release, and honestly, it wasn't great—the digital version sounds way better. Anyway, 🙏 Šo! is definitely one of my all-time favorite bands! 👍 👍 👍
I'd love to know if anyone has listened to a few tracks from the new record!

I was at the album launch last night. They’re solid. This new record is a departure from their older stuff—it’s got a much more laid-back, melodic vibe to it.

So!Mazgoon dropped a new album, did anyone catch it yet? (Pretty sure I spelled the name right, anyway.) Honestly, I wasn't really feeling the last one—that first record, I guess—and that track 'Na Palagruzu' was just straight-up unlistenable for me.

But, get this—last week I hit up the release party at Stojedinica, and man, it was killer. Seriously. They didn't play the whole thing, just maybe five or six tracks, but the music is actually legit. We're talking great funky rhythms, a killer brass section... honestly, a solid ten out of ten. 👍

Even over at Vip.Music, it got a perfect score—not that I live my life by whatever that site says, but hey, some of you might agree.

Have you guys given it a listen yet? 😕 What’s the verdict? 😉

I guess nobody has actually sat down and listened to the whole album yet. 😕I haven't slept yet, but I'm pregnant. 😢So, I was just talking to a buddy yesterday about him emailing me a copy of his letter. It took some serious convincing to get him to actually do it, but I guess it ended up being worth the effort. 😁I don't even know what this thing is called, but I think it goes something like... "The guy's dancing disco and moving his feet so fast, just like he's in San Frančeško or somewhere up north."

These songs sound really upbeat. I guess they’re definitely going to be huge hits this summer. I'm pretty stoked about them, honestly. Can't wait to grab the full album. 🙂!

I haven't actually sat down to listen to the new album yet, but I'm sure it's killer, Šo! Mazgoon are hands down at the absolute top of our music scene right now... and I am seriously counting down the days until they play a show. Especially when I hear words like "funky" and "brass section," my heart just starts racing... 😁

It’s incredibly rare for an album to pull a perfect 5/5, but that’s exactly what Mazguni managed to do.

Princess, you’ve got it wrong—the last album was actually titled "Umri' ću od bonace." Their debut is just "Šo!Mazgoon." You really should have checked out some tracks from that first record; songs like "Črčojak" and "Tramunton" were practically hits back in the day. To be honest, that debut remains one of my all-time favorite American albums... truly beautiful. I wasn't a huge fan of the second one, and I haven't had a chance to listen to the new release yet.
