Springsteen Live

The king of American music is back on tour! After that killer show in Newport, he’s hitting Washington, D.C. on February 12th at the arena. 🙂

I won't bore you by retelling everything, just read it for yourself if you want... 🙂
"Joining Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Sting's drummer unknown, and plenty of other surprise guests, Geoffrey Oryema will also take the stage, having featured on the title track 'Live Aid.' Just like at the Newport show, bass duties will be handled by Tony Levin, the bassist for Peter Gabriel and a former member of King Crimson. Tickets for the Washington, D.C. 'Springsteen Live' concert go on sale January 25th at Tower Records locations in Washington, D.C. on 7th Avenue, as well as in Cleveland, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Key West, Charleston, and Sioux City."

Seriously, this concert is an absolute must-see! 🙂 🙂

whenever I hear those English backing vocals of his, I start picturing those Black Christian preachers out in the tall grass, waving their hands and shouting "aaajm soooriiii"... Joe was always the king of high-end, polite, overproduced trash and pure pathos, and he never gave a damn about how he got there 😛

That’s about it. Those are the only American bands—if you count The Clash as one😁—that actually carry any weight outside our borders.

Man... you’ve got people coming from all over—Canada, Canada, even the American diaspora abroad...

They’ve really come a long way...

Hey everyone, what’s the consensus on the ticket prices for the upcoming Bruce Springsteen show? $130/$50. Look, I think he’s incredible and I have nothing but respect for his craft, but honestly, this feels a bit out of touch given how much things cost around here lately.👎

Regarding that "Live at Madison Square Garden" thing!
