Back in 1975, Freddie wrote Bo Rhap, including lines like:
I don't want to die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
It's almost as if he was looking into a crystal ball back then...

You probably only know them through Bohemian Rhapsody, Innuendo, We Will Rock You, and We Are the Champions... Honestly, most people who trash talk Queen haven't even heard their greatest hits.

The fact that legends like Metallica and Foo Fighters respect them says everything about their quality. I mean, Metallica even covered their Crazy track, and the Foo Fighters have played shows with Brian May and Roger Taylor, performing songs like Tie Your Mother Down... and don't even get me started on that massive tribute concert for Freddie Mercury!

I don't know about you, but I feel like we're missing out by leaving Bohemian Rhapsody out of this conversation; it’s such a phenomenal album, and even if those tracks you mentioned have been played to death on every radio station from New York to LA, they’re still absolute classics 🙂 ?!

I am with you one hundred percent. Look, music is subjective—obviously—but Bohemian Rhapsody is a straight-up masterpiece.

Now, look, I’ll be the first to admit my own opinion: I don't think anyone can truly escape the shadow of the original Queen. Is there really any way to replace Freddie Mercury? Probably not. But, you can still hear that unmistakable guitar work from Brian May, and I'm certain fans will want this in their collections. 😉

Honestly, I think Dana Ward17 wasn't even trying to trash Bohemian Rhapsody—it's more about the fact that when someone talks about Queen, they're usually just reciting the five big hits they heard on the radio and acting like they've mastered music history or something

Queen is easily my favorite band. Watching that 1986 footage from MetLife Stadium makes me wish I had been born twenty years earlier.
