In my opinion, Tom Green is one of the best comedians working today.

You really need to watch his show before diving into his movies. If you see him in a film without knowing his style first, you won't get the humor. I'm not saying everyone has to like his brand of comedy, but you have to "get it" beforehand.

Looking at how people react to his films makes me wonder why I find him so hilarious... but after thinking it over, he remains an unmatched genius. He is the perfect example of the kind of "man"
we should all strive to be: completely shameless, free from prejudice, and
unbothered by what anyone else thinks... with just one single thing on his mind: pure chaos.

Jackass

Honestly, the guy is just one of a kind. Seriously, try finding anyone else who can pull off jokes that sharp in that specific style. I'll wait...

(Actually, don't bother, because you won't find anyone.😉 )

In that opening scene where he’s laughing at those ridiculous comic books, I honestly thought I was watching some sort of quirky indie comedy about a guy who isn't quite all there. 🙄Then you realize the character is actually an incredible skater—which makes you wonder if maybe he's smarter than he looks—but then later, when he starts picking on his brother over that convertible he got, you realize, yeah, he really is just a total moron. 😢

It has a pretty terrible rating on IMDb, sitting at around a 3.6/10, but I actually thought it was decent enough.

Has anyone else seen this? I feel a little silly for having waited so long to finally check it out. 😳

Total garbage. Once you’ve seen one Tom Green movie, you’ve basically seen them all... It’s just the same tired routine where he tries to "shock" the audience with gross-out scenes over and over again. That's it. Nothing else.👎

Some people claim that Tom Green is actually hilarious. 😢 I haven't sat through the whole thing yet; I only watched up until the part where his dad gives him the car. I'm about to go finish it now. 😢 I'll check back in here once I'm done.

There’s a reason this movie picked up a handful of Golden Raspberries back in the day. Now I get it, even though I only sat through about ten minutes before calling it quits—not that I’m much of a masochist.

Isn't it enough that we already have idiots like Jackass? As if I didn't need Tom Green added to the mix... These people belong in an asylum for life.👎

Watched the whole thing yesterday. 😁

I honestly don't get why they translated the title as "Freddy Got High"?? It really should have been something like "Freddy Got Fingered" or something along those lines. 👎

The movie is truly so stupid, but I suppose it was clearly meant to be that way. It’s obviously intended for a specific kind of audience. 😁

In my book, it goes straight into the Hall of Fame for Bad Movies All the Time.

Two decent scenes, though:
i) when he ties all those sausages to ropes, plays that crazy melody on the synth, and sings, "Daddy would you have some sausages, Daddy would you have some SAU-SA-GES." 🤣
ii) when a woman starts giving birth at the hospital and he puts on a white box, looks at her, and says, "I see what the problem is—you've got a little kid in there. Give me your hand, little guy! Come here, little guy!" 🤣

Claiming there was anything remotely funny about this movie is basically a crime punishable by death... 😉

I turned on the TV just as the movie was starting. I sat through about 15 minutes before deciding to just head to bed. Honestly, I don't know what to tell you: that annoying repetitive gagging and touching horse manure stopped being funny to me a long time ago.

From what I can gather, Tom Green built his entire career on reality shows where he’d just go out, provoke people, shock them, and film the whole thing. Based on the little I saw of this movie, it seems he tried to replicate that exact same formula in a scripted feature. It felt completely pointless to me because when you play a character who is provoking others—while also being the director of the film!—you're the one dictating exactly how they have to react. I didn't get the impression at all that he was some unhinged, spontaneous guy acting out in front of a crowd; instead, he's just someone jerking off in front of actors who are forced to respond in a very specific way. It's stupid.

In reality, the only person Tom Green is actually shocking or provoking in a movie like this is me, the viewer. And I have a remote control that allows me to elegantly remove all Tom Green's TV screens from my sight.

It’s hardly surprising the movie aired at two in the morning; they clearly realized nobody would actually want to sit through this.

Smallville and Puppy Love were scheduled for similar late-night slots recently. Likely for the exact same reason.

Mr. Spock said:It’s pretty much the same deal we saw recently with "Smallville" and "Puppy Love." Likely driven by the exact same motivation.

But honestly, that’s what makes it so frustrating—it's exactly because of that reason 😁

Well, everyone’s an expert on what things "seem" like, aren't they?

For instance—just this morning—it really seemed to me like I was finally about to hit the jackpot with my sports betting.

And guess what? I did.

Straight up zero dollars. Zilch. Nada. 🙄
