Or whatever name they gave it: "windy with sharks."
Believe it or not, I actually sat through it.
I’m honestly just trying to figure out if this movie was intended to be a parody, or if the writers and director actually thought they were making a legitimate horror flick.
I powered through from start to finish, mostly just to see how far human stupidity could actually go. I was basically screaming with laughter at certain parts...
Maybe that was the whole point, though—again, I didn't catch any actual parody vibes.
In my personal ranking of the absolute dumbest movies ever made, shark-themed films pretty much dominate the top spots. (think Megalodon, Megashark vs Crocosaurus, Sharktopus) and somehow some random low-budget flick called "The Bogeymen" managed to wander its way into that list too.

It simply isn't worth wasting more than two minutes of your life on this particular "masterpiece."

For those who feel an overwhelming urge to watch it anyway, here is a condensed version....

Sharknado in 2 minutes

I caught him on camera yesterday. I'll get around to watching it later. Honestly? I'm a little spooked...

Joshua Foster said:It feels like this whole genre of movies is just spiraling further and further into pure madness! Even though I’m a total sucker for good old-fashioned trash cinema, I simply don't have the luxury of time to sit through every single one of them anymore, so I decided to put together a little curated retrospective—a sort of "best of" highlight reel featuring the most memorable moments I can recall from these wild rides. Please, do let me know if I've missed any essential classics! As for the trailers, you'll definitely want to check those out too, though I didn't manage to grab specific links for them. For everything else, I've hunted down the best possible links I could find over on YouTube, or at least that's my sincere hope 🙂.

I've seen boa vs Python, komodo vs cobra, mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, and 2-Headed Shark Attack. As for the ones not on this list, I've watched boa, Megalodon, the Asylumov Sherlock Holmes, 100 million BC, and The Land That Time Forgot. I still need to get to Sharknado, Sand Sharks, Sharktopus, mega Piranha, and Titanic 2. A lot of those The Asylum movies follow a pattern where some monster attacks people or they just try to mimic famous hits (like Transmorphers, Terminators, Almighty Thor, Atlantic Rim, 100 million BC, or Snakes on a Train...). Here is a full list of those types of films:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Asylum#Filmography

I honestly don't get how someone can be such an idiot that this actually crosses their mind in the first place.

I still can't wrap my head around this... is this supposed to be some kind of parody? Or maybe just a really bad attempt at one? I seriously cannot believe a screenwriter actually thought they could scare anyone with this garbage. That scene where sharks are just flying out of the clouds one after another, and the guy is basically swatting them away with a gun like he's playing some cheap video game? That's pure parody territory right there. And don't even get me started on the rest of the scenes... Honestly, my gut tells me the writer wasn't even trying to make a comedy. They were dead serious... which makes it even worse.

The film isn't actually a parody... it’s just so poorly executed that it becomes impossible to watch.
While the core concept and the narrative premise are actually quite strong, the visual effects are on par with low-budget YouTube videos made by children playing with toys. This technical failure renders the entire production unwatchable, even if one were attempting to view it as a parody.

Honestly, I can't even tell what's worse—the premise or the effects. The idea that some massive tornado picks up tons of bulldogs and they're just flying through the air and bouncing across the ground is absolutely insane...

In Mega Piranha (yet another Asylum film), there's this guy lying on the beach, meter-long piranhas are flying right at him, and he just kicks them away😂.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFhSogGnu4I check out the scene at 0:37.
But honestly, the part in Sharknado is even better—this guy hits these massive sharks, hundreds of pounds each, with a standard pistol, and they actually veer off course and fly backward🤣. If he had used a shotgun, maybe they would have stayed on track, but with a regular handgun? No way.

Yeah, honestly... it's kind of like Sharks with lasers in terms of the premise 🙏

Sadly, I ended up sitting through the fifth one too.

It’s trash taken to a whole new level. It’s basically just a sci-fi superhero parody now, right in the vein of Scary Movie. Every other scene is just some pop culture gag.

To be fair, the special effects aren't half bad.

But man... the cringe is real.

From that Amer playing the US President to all those random celebrity cameos everywhere.

Hey, if you like that stuff, go for it.

You have been warned.
