It looks like we’re headed for another classic Qualifying session, doesn't it? I can almost see it now: Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-Benz sitting pretty in the top two spots, while the Ferraris are left trailing right behind them.

Perez isn't going to finish this race, and if things go our way, Jenson will land somewhere around 8th or 9th. Mark my words ☕

Ferrari is basically in a coma right now... I honestly couldn't care less about their race pace or how supposedly "good" they are in that department. How are you supposed to win a championship with a car that can't even manage to squeeze itself into the front rows at the start?
Massa is struggling even more.

They are 1.7 seconds behind the leader🙂.

Last season, it felt like Ferrari was getting better and better with every single race, yet this year, they seem to have completely lost their way.

Mercedes clearly gained a massive advantage from that three-day testing session, and while Ferrari had their tests in Bahrain too, it seems to have made no difference whatsoever.

I won't even bother watching Qualifying (it would just be a public humiliation for Ferrari); tomorrow, my attention will be strictly on Mercedes and Red Bull Racing as they fight for pole position.

Fry needs to be replaced immediately; the leadership is a total catastrophe.🤦

Oh, come now, let us be reasonable; nothing is truly decided just yet. We have seen the Ferraris make up several positions right from the starting lights, and if the other teams happen to run into trouble with their tire degradation, who knows what might happen? Anything is possible.

My expectation is to see Ferrari fighting for a top three spot during Qualifying, rather than languishing in 10th place and having to fight their way through the field.

To secure a championship, one needs more than just race pace; you need a car capable of qualifying well. Starting from the middle of the pack is always a double-edged sword—sometimes luck is on your side, but other times, you simply end up caught in a pile-up at Turn 1.

For years now, they haven't been able to solve their Qualifying woes. One has to wonder what kind of engineers they are actually hiring—are they perhaps just picking people off the street?🤣

Massa was really wrestling with his car this morning.

If we are talking about failures, shouldn't we perhaps consider those 10th and 12th place qualifying results for Ferrari as being just as catastrophic?

He is a unique case, isn't he? The moment a light drizzle hits the track, he starts looking for the nearest barrier to spin into. 🤣

And then, after such a display, he has the audacity to claim he wants to stay with Ferrari. 🙂

Massa and Silverstone are just a match made in hell—honestly, I can't even remember him doing anything remotely decent at Silverstone...

A race isn't decided in a single lap.
Qualifying doesn't earn points.

Sure, Ferrari lags behind in Qualifying, but when you factor in tires, DRS, and KERS... is qualifying really that critical?

I'm hoping they just played their hand regarding speed—after all, given what Jason Campbell70 added, a top-three start isn't an insurmountable handicap. But tomorrow should favor Ferrari way more than today did.

Here are my predictions:

Alonso, Vettel, Weber on the podium

Mercedes will drop off since their qualifying was a massive letdown—Lotus and Toro Rosso will fill that gap!

And yeah, Rosberg wins the duel against Hamilton!

Precisely my thoughts! One might observe that Mercedes-Benz dominates the Qualifying sessions, yet they find themselves trailing behind Ferrari in the actual championship standings.

Drew Bennett68 said:Daniel Ricciardo absolutely crushed qualifying, making a massive statement for his chances at Red Bull Racing.

Yeah, right. Only if he can keep his chemistry up and stay ahead of Fernando Alonso.😁
Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up trailing Pierre Gasly by the end of it.

It’s essentially what we were discussing over two weeks ago:
Jason Campbell70 said:The tire allocations for the next three races are out:
United Kingdom - medium-hard (soft-hard back in 2012)
Germany - soft-medium (soft-medium in 2012)
Canada - medium-hard (medium-soft in 2012)

Tires are getting harder. Is all this complaining finally paying off?
