Seriously, what is up with the folks over at ESPN? They aren't even broadcasting the full press conference? 🙄

Huge congratulations to all the Ferrari and Fernando Alonso fans out there!

I suppose from here on out, every single one of your posts until the next race will actually be backed up by facts.

Does anyone happen to have a link for Red Bull, please?

🤦

I was literally just typing away at home about how someone definitely absolutely screwed up that braking zone and probably plowed straight into the guy in front of them :mladenovic:

His race management was incredibly smart... he played it safe by only making overtakes within the DRS zones, never leaving an opening for other drivers elsewhere on the track.
Those five monstrous laps from Sebastian Vettel were something else... the guy is an absolute beast when he needs to string together a sequence of blistering laps.

Red Bull really took a hit today; they completely let Mark Webber down with those clumsy mistakes.

Let's be real here—no need to lie or make stuff up. 🙂
Man, this just isn't it...

Look, you've gotta know how to take a loss when your favorite driver tanks. You have to handle it like a total gentleman. 😁

In my opinion, Jenson Button is really the only one who handles defeat like a true gentleman. 🙂

If you can't master a skill, then you've clearly found your calling in tire changes! Honestly, mistakes happen—that’s just part of the game—but we've been consistently lagging behind the competition by a full half-second to a second for two years running now. It's getting hard to ignore.🙄

By the way, that was a pretty dull race. Jenson Button played it safe with the tires—classic move—and Sergio Pérez struggled out there. I’m really hoping they bring in Kimi Räikkönen or Sebastian Vettel next season. This current lineup just feels lackluster and uninspiring; looking at how this car performs, Lewis would likely be fighting for the win right now.

Maybe skip the grand opening—just a thought. Every time you take the lead, McLaren seems to stumble. Take a breather first.

Is Fernando an incredible Driver who can perform miracles with a beat-up old car, or is the car just absolutely phenomenal and the best one on the track right now?

I ask because—as you all so clearly taught me back when Kimi Räikkönen won in Australia—you can't have it both ways. Back then, the consensus was crystal clear: Kimi won because he had the best car, not because of his driving style... but suddenly, now, Fernando is the Great Master and all that. 🤷

Anyway, huge congrats to Fernando...🙏
Kimi 🙏 🙏
Lewis...🙏

And Jenson Button with those defensive moves...🤦

I thought we settled this ages ago... Kimi won in the USA because Sebastian Vettel basically handed it to him by being incompetent and just trailing behind Sutherlands... ☕

But today, everyone is suddenly talking about how Ferrari has this monster of a car...

Fernando Alonso: 3rd -> 1st
Felipe Massa: 5th -> 6th

Back when Ferrari was actually a monster, Felipe Massa was grabbing podiums left and right without breaking a sweat. Today? He dropped a spot from where he started, and it wasn't even because of a botched pit stop or a driver error... there were drivers from five different teams finishing ahead of him...
Look, Ferrari isn't junk; it’s a solid car. But was it some unstoppable beast today? Not a chance...

Massa isn't a benchmark for speed anymore—I mean, when was the last time he truly showed pace? Ever since the spring season started, he’s been an irrelevant veteran in every sense of the word.

The Ferrari is good, and Fernando Alonso is good, but... the season is long and the competition is only just warming up. I wouldn't base my optimism on a single race.

It sounds like you've developed quite the obsession with some young guy's backside 🙂- which is... a choice.

If you've already gone through with it, then fine—I'll just keep looking elsewhere—but if you haven't... well, that's another story altogether.

Massa basically clawed his way back mid-last season and has started this one off pretty strong...
Didn't you catch all the hype about his speed lately? He actually outpaced Fernando Alonso in qualifying for four races straight! Now, suddenly, Massa isn't the yardstick for speed anymore? 🤦😂

I'm telling you... if Ferrari were this absolute monster of a car, Massa would be walking onto the podium without breaking a sweat. ☕

Oh, absolutely...
How could I have ever been so naive as to think that Alonso was solely responsible for that win?🙂

I guess I still haven't quite grasped the "logic" here:
Kimi only wins because of other people's mistakes and a superior car, whereas Alonso wins purely through sheer talent while driving a total clunker.🙏

For instance, I suppose I *could* argue that Alonso only won today because of Kimi's collision... but I won't.☕
Because, let’s be real, Alonso, Kimi, and Lewis Hamilton all drove brilliantly today, and they ended up exactly where they earned their spots.

But man, if Alonso had driven a race like Kimi did—battling with a damaged car for 16 laps and still pulling off a result like that—I shudder to think how much this forum would be singing the Spaniard's praises.🙂
Instead, according to the critics, Kimi only pulled that off because of that Lotus-like performance from his machine.🙂

If you asked the Sad Owl or Mr. No about the race, they’d probably just go: "Pfft."
I'm with them on that one.

Congrats to Alonso and Ferrari—well deserved for both Kimi and Lewis Hamilton...

To me, Massa was never the standard for speed—not before spring, and certainly not now—plus, I suspect he doesn't care how fast he drives if he knows he's never allowed to be quicker than Louis.

Qualifying pace? You've got to be kidding me.
It wasn't that Massa was fast; it was just that Louis was slow. 🙂 😁
