Could someone lend me a hand here?
I know there are plenty of ways to trigger Safe Mode, but I was specifically trying to force it while the PC is still technically powered off. My plan was to hit the power button, then once the motherboard logo pops up, tap the button again to shut it down. I tried this a few times—following the logic that if I interrupt the boot process four times, the system should automatically kick into Recovery mode—but no luck. It just booted straight into Windows like nothing happened.
I’ve confirmed that I can indeed interrupt the boot cycle this way; the hardware responds just fine.
So, why isn't it triggering Recovery mode? I can't tell if I'm cutting the power too quickly during the startup sequence or perhaps holding the power button down for just a second too long. Does anyone happen to know the trick to getting this to work?
