Best printer to buy right now?

I’m on the hunt for a compact little printer. My desk space is basically non-existent at this point. I need something reliable, but here's the kicker: I refuse to be held hostage by overpriced, proprietary ink cartridges. It also can't break the bank. 😁 Does anyone know of anything small, white, and budget-friendly out there? 😁

Look, if you go out and grab one of those dirt-cheap printers, you’re just setting yourself up to get bled dry by the ink costs later on. You’d be much better off investing in a model with high-capacity refillable tanks—what they call a CISS system—so you can just top them off yourself whenever you need to. Once you have that setup, you can print photos all day long without feeling like you're burning through your bank account.
