Can I delete my entire account along with all my posts?

I just received a doxxing threat. Honestly, I'm at a loss for what my next move should be.

I just realized there’s no option to delete an account, let alone my posts. I need to scrub some of this stuff.

If the threat was sent via private message here on the forum, please report that specific message by clicking the icon.
If you have shared any sensitive personal information on the forum, reach out to the admin immediately so they can wipe the specific post.

You are, of course, free to take these threats to the police, though I am somewhat skeptical about how they will handle a doxxing threat. However, should there be an official police request, the forum is legally obligated under the law to provide any available data regarding the individual making the threats.

I’ve never explicitly shared sensitive info like my full name or birth date, but looking back, I’ve dropped enough breadcrumbs that someone could easily piece together my identity. This isn't even someone from this forum, though there's a chance they have an account here. To be blunt, I'm genuinely worried about my safety.

Handling threats is literally their job description, and they are legally obligated to take a report.

You’re more than welcome to take any threats to the police, though I’m honestly not sure how they'll handle a doxxing threat. But if there's an official subpoena, the forum is legally required to hand over the data regarding whoever made the threat.

Under CCPA, every single post on a private forum counts as personal data, so you have to delete them upon request.
It isn't just the messages either—you have to wipe all the metadata from the database. Otherwise, running a site like this becomes a legal nightmare.
