Alright, following the Eurovision Song Contest thread, I've got another request

Can we please get a dedicated section under the Movie category specifically for American films? Right now, US movies—which basically drive all the discussions and topics—just get totally buried in a massive sea of international titles

Honestly, this might be the first time I’ve actually agreed with you on anything since I joined this forum.

Kudos to you for being so narrow-minded. 👍

(Imagine someone uninvited stepping in just to ruin any chance that the boss might acknowledge my contribution.)... I don't know.

Tags solve this problem easily. If we start splitting everything up, we’ll end up with a million different subforums—American movies, European cinema, cult classics, animation, documentaries... why stop there? We could go by genre, era, or even specific directors and actors. It's all much cleaner if you just use tags.

Why fragment a subforum that doesn't even have massive traffic? It's unnecessary.

And an American film industry subforum? That would be a ghost town from day one.

Would a subforum like that even survive? There's a reason discussions about the American film industry tend to fade into obscurity—hardly anyone ever posts about them.

Plus, there's a big difference between discussing a movie and discussing directors or actors. We can organize all that stuff cleanly using tags instead.

Splitting up a subforum that doesn't even have massive traffic just breaks things apart for no reason.

And an "American film" subforum? That would be a ghost town the second we launched it.

thanks for the reply 👍
