Post deletion: Is this censorship?

I’d like some clarification on why my post in the LJS thread was deleted—it was positioned right above post 8255.

Also, if I somehow posted in the wrong section, I’d appreciate an explanation from the moderators. It feels like it’s easier to just hit delete than to actually engage when Alexander Gray2 didn't have a real answer for me.

Does being a man mean I have fewer rights to speak my mind here?
If not, then why aren't the rules against misogyny and misandry applied equally? Why does moderation seem focused on silencing frustrated guys, while women can vent about "male garbage" without much pushback? It seems like if a man is insulted based on his sexual history—labeling him an incel, for instance—it's treated one way, whereas using certain slurs against women would likely result in a permanent ban.
Why is a guy called out for simply stating what he expects from women, when he has every right to his own standards? Yet, when a woman posts about how men *should* behave, nobody says a word.

Like I mentioned before, feminism and chauvinism are two sides of the same coin; no extreme "-ism" has ever been a force for good. To be clear, I support equality, not any radical ideology. I agree that racism should be strictly punished, but please, be consistent. Don't favor one group over another based on gender. Treating different groups differently is the very definition of discrimination. Thanks.

Look, when it comes to the terminology we use on this forum, it really all boils down to the context. If you’re feeling targeted by any specific labeling or tags, feel free to flag the post to the moderators.

The reason your post got nuked was because of a warning issued to another user who wrote something like this:

"Who hurt you, girl? You seem so damaged that you have to lash out at total strangers like this."

Maybe you're missing the blatant ad hominem attack there, so maybe give it another read. Besides, looking back at what she actually wrote, I don't see her "lashing out" at anyone; she was just stating her opinion on the topic being discussed.

That whole post is just straight-up degrading toward women—and honestly, I shouldn't even have to spell that out for you.

Feminism and chauvinism aren't the same thing, obviously, but seeing that statement now gives me all the context I need to understand why you're complaining.

I just caught this thread, but I wanted to jump in since my own post was also taken down (for no real reason, if you ask me).

It’s true that the user > mentioned was way too harsh, and maybe shouldn't have phrased things in such a "demeaning" way—so I get why they got banned. But what really worries me (and I think I speak for other users whose posts were deleted too) is how often I see equally insulting comments calling inexperienced guys "incels," "desperate," "creepy," "abusive," or "pathetic" without any actual basis, yet there are absolutely NO consequences. As I roughly mentioned in my own deleted post—if we are aiming for true "equality" as a society, then it should be treated exactly the same whether a woman insults a man or a man insults a woman. "Subjective impressions" shouldn't be a factor in moderation. Moving forward, I'd just ask the moderators here and on the national forums to do a better job regulating posts involving any kind of gender-based insults, whether direct or indirect...

We need actual standards, not just feelings.
