Um, why does it seem like anyone who dares to post even a tiny bit of criticism about Eric Adams ends up getting banned?☕

It feels like the agitprop comments are being given a free pass to roam wild while anything remotely critical gets wiped clean immediately—I’m honestly relieved, so thanks to the mods for that—but then again, I see people getting banned or having their accounts suspended just as frequently, at least from what I can gather. Is anyone else noticing this pattern?
Even though Fraer doesn't have any background in the private sector, I’m still casting my vote for him, and honestly, no amount of nitpicking or outside commentary is going to sway me one bit. After all, isn't it a little ironic that we have someone leading our country who hasn't actually spent a single day working in a corporate environment?
Let’s stir up a little bit of healthy debate on his thread, shall we? You’ve only got a few hours left to make your voices heard!
Adam Collins4 said:Honestly, I completely lost my cool and went on a total rant regarding his specific topic. Are you seriously trolling me just because I pointed out that he lacks the fundamental expertise required to manage such a massive organization? Because, honestly, he really doesn't have it.
And what about that other crowd over there? You know, the ones just mindlessly cycling through those rehearsed talking points they were clearly spoon-fed? Honestly, nothing comes from them at all... does it?
And honestly, when you look at the people he’s chosen to surround himself with, it’s just... zero. Zero points. How can anyone look at that lineup and see anything resembling competence?
Nicholas Nguyen Asks:
Is it any wonder that the "approved" tag was handed out by such an intensely ideological and politically driven group of moderators over on Politics?
I mean, look, I’ll still be casting my vote for him, but let’s be honest—the way certain threads and topics are being moderated around here is just an absolute embarrassment. It’s honestly pathetic, isn't it?
Carl Wilson said:Just look at their candidate list—it’s basically just a cast of actors. What are they even basing their ability to run a massive metropolis like New York City on?
Chloe Campbell95 said:Look, your one-sentence remark about that "propaganda comment" got wiped out simply because that specific comment was deleted too 😁. Did you even take a second look before jumping to the conclusion that your own post was the problem?

One last explanation from my side:
Calling forum members or voters supporting Eric Adams nothing more than Soros mercenaries, leftist sandwich-makers, total failures, an unemployed bunch of leftists, etc., along with this whole "argument" system: calling people lost causes, airheads, failed actors, sidewalk loafers, members of FFZG, or people who have never worked a day in their lives, saying Eric Adams has the same background as Eric Adams, calling him a foreign agent, or the constant "Soros, sister-in-law, Soros" chant and those "foreign spy" tactics... no, that wasn't allowed then and it won't be allowed now. Neither is posting stupid videos or random sources on this thread (some of which are still here just in case someone wants some mindless entertainment). The same goes for clones of permabanned or suspended users who somehow miraculously multiply right on this thread.
Larry Wilson25 said:It looks like my post just got wiped out. Apparently, because someone else already asked a similar question, the system decided to scrub mine entirely. Typical.
It looks like the agitprop comments are being allowed to fly free while anything remotely critical gets scrubbed—or at least silenced via bans, if my observations are correct (I’m actually relieved about that part, so thanks to the mods). It feels like everything else is just being flattened out.
Fraer might not have any background in the private sector, but I’m still casting my vote for him, and honestly, no amount of nitpicking from anyone else is going to sway me. We’ve got someone actually running this country, and yet people act like it’s a crime that he hasn't spent his career in corporate America.
Let’s try to inject a little more pluralism into his thread. You've all got a few hours left.

fadedgull6 said:Look, things aren't great, but let's be real—the mods aren't solely to blame here, even if I’ve personally been hit with some pretty ridiculous penalties myself. The real issue is how people communicate; frankly, the quality is bottom-of-the-barrel. On the political side of things, it feels like there's this group of pathetic characters hanging around—you know the type—who are just waiting to tear you down. You can't even type a single sentence without someone labeling you a bot, a shill, a paid operative, or whatever other nonsense they throw at you.
We can disagree—that's fine—but you don't need to act like you're trying to kick me out of the room the second I open my mouth.
If we don't have people pushing back against the entrenched, retiree-heavy leftist crowd rooted here, then they won't get what's coming to them.
We're all arguing about the same stuff—that's just politics—but the way we treat one another is where the real problem lies.
There's no point in commenting on the OP of this thread because everyone knows exactly what they're about... you either put up with it or you leave.
It’s a shame you feel forced to walk away.
And honestly, it's already obvious there are no bots or shills left, because they've either been purged or they simply refuse to show up since they don't support policies aligned with Zoranizam.
I'll say it again: sure, some moderators make mistakes, but they aren't the ones dictating the overall quality of the debate.
