Solid picks. I’m still stuck on Post-Hardcore and PJ Harvey myself.—honestly, can't move on.😁

No rush! We're just running a poll anyway 😁

It’s gotta be Johnny Cash. Honestly, it might actually be pretty cool to dive into some classics for a change 👍 So, Jessica Morris6, let me know when you're ready... You can just copy over the suggestion post for the new thread if that's easier, but hey, totally up to you. Just whenever you're set 😉

I know it’s still early, but somehow I always seem to miss out when you guys start dropping suggestions (and voting), so I'm trying to jump in now if that's alright JJ Cale - Naturally 1972

I'm not entirely sure if this is actually the best pick—since people usually point to Trubadur as his absolute peak—but honestly, I think there are at least five other albums that could easily stand in for Naturally. So, if any fans of his have a better idea for how to introduce JJ Cale's vibe and legacy to the group, please feel free to throw out a suggestion.

That one's a solid pick for the representative 😁 And yeah, I'll definitely keep it in mind for the poll this Thursday or Friday. We said we'd stick to maybe four or five max, just so the poll doesn't get too cluttered... Honestly, everyone should have a chance to get their turn 🙂 If you don't change your mind, we'll go with Naturally.

1.trash
2.candlelight dinner
3.porn star
4.your daughter
5.what is it?
6.danger zone
7.finally raped
8.just say it
9.kill yourself
10.why don't you wash up?
11.why did you burp?
12.come on, brother
13.it's ok
14.beer bottle
15.waving Mare
16.i am hardened trash
17.Ilija (hidden track)

What’s the deal with the compilation status here? Some sources claim this is a studio album, while others call it a compilation... Personally, I suspect it might actually be a studio effort, given that most of these tracks originate from their first two albums, but the production quality is so abysmal that listening to it is honestly borderline unbearable...

I’m putting my money on Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses. It's their sixth studio record, and man, the symbolism is heavy. You can really feel them wrestling with the commercial side of things as they blow up, all mixed with those messy feelings of broken trust, loyalty, and a little bit of self-sabotage.

Man, I’ve been totally obsessed with Depeche Mode lately—which is weird because I'm not even usually a huge fan—so that WW description really caught my eye.
On the flip side, I still haven't gotten around to listening to Neil Young, though Test Dept sounds super interesting (I honestly haven't heard a single thing from them yet).

Honestly, I could really go for some Depeche Mode right about now. That was a pretty solid description, though it felt a little bit like clickbait!

I haven't even given Cash a listen yet, even though I’ve heard him plenty of times before, so I won't be voting until I catch up on my backlog.
'Time Fades Away' is my favorite Neil Young live recording, alongside that magical Music for the Masses album, so I guess I don't really know.
Everything else is just unfamiliar to me...

Amanda Robinson4, it’s going to be a toss-up again. 😁

You just can't go wrong with Depeche Mode... honestly. I wasn't even really into them that much until a few years ago, but then they just kind of clicked, you know? Now they're constantly on my playlists...

And what's with all the drama surrounding the voting again? 😬 Just vote for whatever you're actually vibing with right now and call it a day! 😁

I was spinning some JJ Cale the other day and he's just been hitting the spot lately... fits my mood perfectly. But hey, whatever ends up being picked, it’s gonna be good anyway 🙂

Nah, no way—I'm not feeling Depeche Mode, and I definitely don't want any more synth-pop!!! I just need to get back to some Folke.😁

Haha, well if you're actually going to go on a total music strike, you still have at least two albums left that you haven't properly listened to yet...😬
