I have a bit of an odd question. For work purposes, my laptop is currently running on Windows 7, which comes with some specific limitations. Is it possible to pull out that hard drive and swap it with my personal one running Windows 10? Essentially, I want to know if I can just switch them back and forth depending on whether I need to get work done or handle my own business.

You could probably pull it off, but only if you install Windows 10 onto that specific hard drive while it's still sitting inside the laptop, making sure you grab all those internal hardware drivers too.
The only real headache might be getting the Windows 10 license to activate... though honestly, it’ll likely run just fine regardless.

Personally, I’d just perform a fresh installation of Windows 10 on my empty SSD; I already have a valid Windows license ready to go.
