So, I'm thinking about putting together some diagrams. Specifically, I want to map out "family trees" for American political parties and global rock bands. The idea is to visualize how they branch off or merge—like showing party splits or musicians jumping from one band to another.
Everything I've dug up on Google so far has been pretty useless. It's either basic family tree makers that lack the specific features I need, or heavy-duty software meant for math, electrical engineering, or physics. Those feel way too overcomplicated for what I'm trying to do.
I think this image captures the vibe of what I'm aiming for. Hopefully, it makes my goal pretty clear. 😁 Thanks! 🙂
