brain tune

This is basically the most quintessential brain tune I can associate with the late '90s.

I’m just not interested in engaging with that. I don't believe in the concept of stupid people, and frankly, I doubt they believe in me either.

What did they manage to wrap up in just 10 minutes?

Meh. Caterina is just... alright. A whole lot. Very much so. Better. The true heirs to the original TD spirit are... Martin and Steven..

We’ve got Marc Rebillet in the mix too. He isn't really into modular gear—more of a Rompler guy, honestly, and doesn't touch a TD to save his life, but whatever. 😎

I neglected to mention that the smiley face actually contains the link to the song Lucky Man, 😵

I actually sat through Caterina’s set and those guys who are supposedly the heirs apparent, just so I wouldn't be that guy who talks big without actually listening. 😁 It was good, sure, but nothing spiritually deep or technically superior to this new TD crew. Maybe what I dismissed earlier actually hits the spot, but with improv, everything depends on whether they're riding a sudden wave of inspiration or if they spent all that time sketching out a plan beforehand instead of just starting from absolute zero.

Bottom line? They have a refreshed TD sound. The performances aren't really hitting that classic early TD vibe; it's more like that later, commercial sound—which is exactly what Caterina seems to be chasing too, as far as I can tell.

kissing your smooth PVC

The cops beat the hell out of me, man, just straight up bruised by the local PD.
I honestly don't know if I'll even make it back to the dock alive.

Well, some of us are just drifting along

Anyway, I’ve got a class at 1:00 PM today consisting of a few car enthusiasts and myself; we actually get along fairly well.
It runs until 2:30, then we head out for lunch, and once I've eaten, my workday is officially over. Dammit. 👋 😁

man, I'm kinda jealous. 🙂 enjoy! 🙂

snitches get stitches ...

The factory is acting up again, throwing me another curveball with temperatures hitting over 100 degrees starting this afternoon, though I suppose I should be thankful it waited until the weekend to fall apart. 🙂 ))

Broadway - The night you got married

Hey, look, I’m not about to marry Lenin or Trotsky. I’m seriously blaming the YouTube algorithm for these suggestions.

TV playing through the radio )

Back when I was just a kid, my sister—who’s nine years older than me—and I would spend hours in our room singing our hearts out, mostly because she was obsessed with whatever was on the radio at the time.

Jihaaa!

Honestly, I'm telling you, none of that is true 🙄

Yeah, right
