Reddit App won't connect to Reddit anymore

The Reddit App works perfectly fine for all my other subreddits, but for the last 4 or 5 days, I haven't been able to connect to Reddit at all. It just keeps throwing a "Network error (get_config)" message. My app version is 8.3.5 (1457).
Can you guys get this fixed so it runs smoothly like everything else? I'm running Android 9 on an iPhone X.

The Reddit App is totally glitching out—it’s mixing up posts and won't even load new ones in threads. Anyone else dealing with this? It's been happening ever since that update a few days ago.

Deleting it and doing a clean reinstall actually did the trick. Seems okay for now. We'll see how it holds up.

They finally dropped an update today that fixes it.

My tablet is currently showing me this message—I actually deleted the Reddit App by accident—and now I can't seem to download it for free anymore. Is it actually possible that the free version isn't available to me anymore and I’m forced to pay for it? It just keeps prompting me to install the Pro version instead of the standard one.

I guess I should chime in with my own grievance. The Reddit App takes an absolutely ridiculous amount of time just to load any single page on Reddit. It’s constant, every single time I open it... Is anyone else dealing with this nonsense?

What's the alternative, really, when they refuse to build a mobile-friendly version of the forum...

Lately, I’ve been forced to manually type in my password every single time I try to log in, even though that was never an issue before. Now, it just keeps throwing some kind of error at me.

Look, all I'm saying is that I exclusively use the Mobile App to check this site because I'm always on my phone (and I'm definitely not the only one). There is zero chance in hell I’m going to struggle through the desktop version on a tiny screen. So, it's bye-bye Reddit for me until the higher-ups decide to actually fix it...

It looks like this issue is strictly limited to the Mobile App—everything else seems to be working perfectly fine.

The issue is that I can't get onto the site anymore through the Mobile App. I have no clue why. The desktop version works just fine, but the Mobile App doesn't support Reddit anymore. Can someone please explain what the hell is going on...

It’s honestly kind of sad that we’re living in the 21st century and there isn't even a dedicated app just for Reddit.
The desktop site feels like something straight out of the Middle Ages, 🤦
